8 days. It's the magic number. Head out Friday to your favourite place. Get hectic for two days come home chill for a day or three. Clean up at home. Take the misses out next Friday night. Recover from that. Back to work Monday. But maybe that's just me.

Don't get me wrong the plane is sweet and it's great he got his license in so many different categories. He spends his time in impressive ways. The track would be a lot safer though if it was smoother, especially with how professional their events are becoming

I want more paving details! You must be saw cutting to dig all of it out, which looks like a good idea. The cracks are likely from the ground underneath. Replace a section of the rock, make sure they use fabric, and make sure it's compact to spec. It should hold up...that's what we had to do on bridge to highway transitions.

The advantage you have there in Sunny Florida is you can do portions of the track and still get away with using it yr round. This repair is going to add a lot of speed to this old track very fast.

Lime stabilization under the asphalt and base would stop the asphalt from trying to creep down to the bottom of the track . Water between the asphalt, base and the subgrade will wash the fines out of the base . Soil stabilization will help end that problem .

you guys really should almost build a frame straightening area. you really just need a thick concrete pad and a bunch of anchor points to tie the vehicles down and pull from. it may not be as entertaining but it is less likely to tear or damage the metal
