I'm a new grandpa at 60 years old. I'd love to take my grandson on an epic adventure like yours. I'm following your next great trip with hopes for a some new ideas on creating my own adventure rig.
With this series, you guys have officially become my favorite off-road BC channel. The scenery up there is incredible and the production of your videos is top notch. You guys have both become comfortable with the camera and are naturals. Yeti is a BEAST and you deserves many props for doing all you have done to him. PS, please don't buy a Bronco and turn your channel into a bunch of endless commercials that sound like a NASCAR driver trying to mention of of his sponsors. Thanks for keeping it real. Can't wait to see what's around the next corner. I do have a question: You speak of distances in kilometers, but elevation in feet. Is that normal for your area?
Thank you Phil, we appreciate the support very much! No Bronco's here.... Maybe a 1968 Bronco on 40's? Probably not haha. As for the kms, feet thing... I think I'm just a mutt when it comes to describing distances 😅 The metric system is most common here, I just prefer feet inches and miles idk why.
What an incredible trip, thank you for taking the time to film it! I drove my axle swapped jeep xj on 35s from Niagara falls to Smithers to visit friends and then to Stewart/ Hyder Alaska boarder and it was one of the best trips and memories i have. such a great experience seeing how beautiful Canada is, especially with something you've built up. The rear axle exploding and catching on fire, tire flying off and sliding on the rear axle housing for 100' in Golden was not fun but still an experience. Back on the road after a day of repair, was a tad interesting the remaining 3500kms home. I really wish i had of documented it in some sense.
Amazing. We are headed to Bella Coola next week via Vancouver Island to Port Hardy where we take the ferry up to Bella Coola and then explore our way back to Oregon in our 35 year old VW campervan. We don't have the same off road capability of the Yeti but we do ok and are looking forward to seeing some backcountry up there. Hope our videos turn out as good as yours did. nate
I normaly don´t like overlanding becasue I feel like often it goes hand in hand with bringing every commodity with you and just consuming nature not actually experience it. But I get the impression that you guys are doing it in a very respectfull menor. I really ltke this series :)
I don’t think her palate was getting those flavours like you were, just the look she gave lol, anyways great video ! epic spots ! The yetti is such a beast ! Safe travels !
Another excellent video. One thing that comes to my mind watching your latest adventures is trusting the yeti not to break! Considering the fact that you guys are doing this with one truck. Long ways to walk if something breaks. I’m sure you have certain parts that you carry with you. Let us know what you have just in case on a trip like this in a future video??
We will definitely make that video of all the things we bring on a trip like this. The biggest gamble was the transmission I put in a few days before we left. Other than that I've pretty much replaced every nut, bolt and removeable part on the truck 😅
@@ToyotaWorldRunners definitely curious. I know what it’s like replacing everything to build a totally dependable off-roader but there’s always the unexpected. I used to give a map to a trusted friend showing the route I was taking and to come and find me if I wasn’t back by a certain day. Now I just enjoy watching other peoples adventures. Just picked up a new 4Runner only willing to do nicer trails when I finish my break in period.
Excellent video guys. Love the truck and adventures and the drone shots. I'm in Florida so our trail riding is much different from yours . I'm envious. Please keep em coming. Outstanding videos ✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽
Go yeti! Another super video! I had my wife watch it and she's instantly notified how good your video editing is. Her favorite part was the beer review at the river bed. Keep the adventuring!
we’re building a 89 white 4runner’s on 40’s. a 60 front and a 14 bolt rear. it’ll be on springs. We are going with a nv 4500 behind a lv3, 205 behind the trans with a magnum underdrive unit from offroad design. this channel makes we want to get it done so much more
Another great one! Was that the Stupendous lookout trail that you tried to go up? I'm down there often for work, I'll have to check that out. I didn't know there was a road that goes up the mountain.
Sheesh bc is beautiful. Awsome trip you two! Makes me want to finish building my 40 year old shitty land rover even more! And take it to Norway and sweden!
@@ToyotaWorldRunners there’s actually so many breweries in the portland area you would need a couple of days to just skim the surface of what’s available, then there’s the winery’s , distillery’s it’s a bit overwhelming at times
