@@65g4 Best Picture can have up to 10 films. I think "The French Dispatch" can sneak it's way in there. It needs to. The film is so such endearing and respectful film about the journalism profession and the news stories behind them.

@@JeremyHinen The Oscars didn't age well. Poor Annette, Titane, and The French Dispatch not getting nominated for any categories. Also, snubs for Jonny Greenwood's score and Jacqueline Durran's Costume Design for Spencer. Moreover, Denis Villeneuve's Best Director snub is already too much bare for many people.

That snub in those categories especially the Best Production Design category, was a total loss and a total travesty.

@@ajpat9620 the talented people who worked on the production design of The French Dispatch were the same people who worked on West Side Story’s production design. So they technically got nominated, but for another exceptional movie

@@belle-ashton2167 Honestly, these people by the likes of Adam Stockhausen and Rena DeAngelo could have just got double nominations for their impressive production designs in The French Dispatch and Steven Spielberg's West Side Story, but alas, that nomination did not happen, and instead, the production design for West Side Story was only nominated.

That snub was a travesty. Like, it could have at least received one nomination or two or three like: Best Production Design Best Cinematography Best Original Score

Clearly, I regret having placed the prediction of Don't Look Up being nominated for Best Picture and it's the biggest mistake and regret made there. Like, Tick...Tick... Boom! should have got the nomination for Best Picture and that snub was a massive travesty.

Yeah I mean TFD and NA production design is next level so i will not be mad if one of these two win

The French Dispatch got snubbed of an Oscar nomination for Best Production Design and it's a massive loss. Nevertheless, Dune is getting the win for Best Production Design.

@@rafaelc.c. That Best Soundtrack is referred to as Best Original Score. Tough in the end, Dune will take that win in the end. It's inevitable.

Not just that, for it's outrageous that The French Dispatch didn't even got a couple of Oscar nomination. At least a single nomination would do. Like, it should have got a nomination for Best Production Design or Best Original Score.

But more than just that, Alexandre Desplat was also oddly snubbed for his musical score composition for Best Original Score.

Like, it would have been better if it got a nomination for Best Production Design.
