Hi Dylan, It been a month that I have started learning French. And your lessons are playing an important role in my learning, I would like to thank you for the same.
Thanks for these amazing videos❤❤❤! Could you also make a video about these 3 French words for 'friend', 'Correspondant, copain and ami', because I get confused which word to use when talking about a friend?
They give us the information about whom the noun belongs to. 'Whom' is correct but not many people say it these days as it can sound stilted. Better would be 'They give us the information about to whom the noun belongs' as we shouldn't really end a sentence with a preposition, but again, these days, not many people care! (Only saying this because you asked - otherwise it would be rude.) Really enjoying this french course as the last time I spoke french was in school more than 50 years ago. Thanks Dylane.
Thank you so much for taking the time to explain it to me ❤️ I tend to forget a lot the prepositions at the end, especially on videos. I think (or I hope) that my English is better in real life 😅 Merci encore :)
In the next lesson, we are going to see the numbers so be ready 😉 The PDF: theperfectfrench.com/shop/pdf-course-books/the-complete-french-grammar-course-french-beginners-to-advanced/ The paperback: amzn.to/2UYD1fd The eBook: amzn.to/3Dv0RAC

Bonjour professeur. as we know "là = there" and "ici = here" for the example mes cousins sont là , the following meaning will be "my cousins are there" instead of "here". Please correct me of this confusion. I am a very beginner of french language and your lessons encourages me significantly and motivates me towards learning this language. :)
Là is more often used than ici. And it usually translates to here. The translation of both is not as simple as you think. I don’t know exactly what sentence I used in the video but thinking that là = there and ici = here is not the best way to approach the use of them in French :)
Very good, thank you so much for clearing this up! Duolingo doesn’t know how to teach singular vs plural, haha. I have one nitpick, for the English “our”, you pronounced it like “or”, but it should have a full diphthong starting from “ow”. It’s a little confusing otherwise. Thanks again!
Thankyou mam! It was the best video! I was not able to understand it but now I understand it well. :-)❤ But a question:- Mam i am not able to understand that for example there is a sentence - C'est mon livre. So if i am feminine, so i have to write C'est *ma*livre? As i am feminine Or i have to write- C'est mon livre Because livre is masculine I have this doubt that we have to look to the subject's gender or the object gender (to whom we are showing possession)? Please help me about this. Tomorrow is my test.
Thank you for all the wonderful lessons. And you certainly deserve more time off! But at the 4:35 mark, shouldn't it read "sa veste est salee" with a double e because veste is feminine? Thank you.
I just wanted to say, vous actually means 'you all' rather than formally. But nonetheless i really enjoyed this lesson because without this id probably fail-
Actually I am not trying to be rude to u but I wanna correct u in 2words "Etc" ... is pronounced as etcetera And Our is pronounced as hour Sorry if u feel I am rude to u
