I assume the massacre you're discussing is the one that happened on St. Bartholomew's Day. Interesting to know it was the result of people being offended by a pamphlet trashing transubstantiation. No wonder Jesus spoke in parables. He could teach those willing to receive Him with as little offense as possible to those who wouldn't. Of course, eventually the full truth does eventually have to be proclaimed even though it results in rejection by the masses.
Furthermore, (and the bit your sect is missing), Jesus freed us from the Jurisdiction of the Law. We are not under the Law, we are Under Grace. So don't worry about which day is the "Sabbath." We have an eternal sabbath in Christ.
@@victorjr8073 You're already a sinner. If you're not, then you cant be saved. "I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." (Luke 5:32)
Then how do i know i have sinned if the commandments dont matter anymore? Acccording to the bible sin is the trasgression of the law. If their is no law there is no sin and if there is no sin then the death of christ was for nothin. "If you love me keep my commandments" those were the words from christ And we will all be judged according to our works, good or bad works is measured on the commandments
@@victorjr8073 "Judged according to your works" for a believer means chastisement during your earthly life. But the Law has no jurisdiction over a believer, because "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree."
