Raise a beer 🍻 Happy you’ve found your happy with RU-vid, miles more confident in front of the camera, excited to see where you go next, shop looks mint with all the shells around
Love your contents mate, keep it up!! Couldn't be more relatable what you said in the video, It's not just about ownership of the car but the journey that comes with it, people you meet, knowledge and skills you learn etc. The internet and JDM car prices have ruined my dreams of owning a R34 GTR, it was achievable many years ago when it was 50k, unlikely to get one now due to prices going past 200k+... owned a R34 GTT I guess close enough 😅
@@nocrustracing i personally think his video are extremely well filmed and detailed. i don’t think you’ll find anyone on youtube that has this much detail of an R34 than Damo.
@@syygnis I'm the same with Supras. I worked in car audio in the early 2000s when they started coming in and they were terrible to fit a stereo to. I didn't like the cockpit and I hate the sound of a 2jz. Can't dispute they can be a good car. Just not for me.
Awesome Video man. Such a cool trip and story. Hope ur dream come true and you can travel with ur R34. Would be so sick to see you in diffrent countries and maybe in Germany aswell :)
The internet can only ruin a car for you if you let it. Put the phone down, get away from the computer and go for a drive in one of these cars, the passion will still be there if you truly love the car
I don't know of you care but a RU-vid called TexnOR has stole your skyline videos and other cards youtuber videos and claims they're his with stupid thumbnails
Lately you've been taking the RU-vid platform to a different level! I'm amazed by everything you're involved in, keep it going and you will come far in life!
Fully agree with your comments about how the internet has ruined GT-Rs. I had a basic 34R, not even v-spec, that I built up to be a fairly nice Z Tune replica. Kept twins (-9s, e85 etc, bit over 500rwhp) and I knew the next round of upgrades (engine/box etc) was going to set me back an easy 40k and in the mean time I was constantly stressed about damaging it etc. Turns out I get far more enjoyment out of driving the wheels off the Silvia at track days so the R was sold and that was that. It was the second GT-R I'd owned and I don't really regret selling either TBH. Prices now are ridiculous.
True, that’s why you need to think for yourself. There’s a Ford XR6T 4WD that goes zero to 100 in less than 3 seconds. It’s nuts. How many HP is it? Who cares? Has the guy spent over 50k on the build? Probably lol guessing over 90k. Don’t worry about what others on the internet want, just do you.
Whys everything so expensive now even shit like 350z also do you know when the quarter panels and stuff go under heritage and become insanely expensive
For me a 33 gtr is where it's at. All the fan boys go after the r32 because Godzilla all the fan boys go after the r34 because Paul walker. I like the ugly sister. So under rated for what it is and its a gentleman's cruiser. Something about the series 2 or 3 r33 gtrs that just does it for me and they are still somewhat obtainable for reasonable money.
I agree, i drive a bf xr6 non turbo, plenty of people insist you need a turbo system and high horsepoer to enjoy it, my car isnt turbo, it makes stock power, i thoughly enjoy it, its fun to drive and very reliable and easy to work on to a certain extent. You dont need a high horsepoer car to have fun
Interested in how you score your videos (which are awesome btw), do you just not care about monetisation? Also as an ex-GTT owner of many years (now with kids :( ), get your arse over to Barcelona next time you are in Europe!
Hey Damo im a bit late.. bro this video is literally Netflix quality.. it makes me so fucking sad it only got 11k views… it should have 500k+.Keep grinding man. Been with you since the beginning and i’m so proud of how far youve come. Keep killing it.
Oh Shit. Endgame collection. I been following that guy for a while. Same with Reap3r. Damn Bro!!! For my GTR I want to build for 1000HP....but I want to detune it so the high boost is only 650-700 and low boost maybe 450-500. I figure that can kind of make it bulletproof and it will lasta lot longer while still being able to drive it and have fun on the road. Also YES the expense sucks. It's going to take me YEARS to do it with what little funds I have now. But also for me mine isn't just a car. Probably because I'm from the US and the we are used to LHD here and driving on the Right is something special to me. I might feel the same way about say a Mazda Miatta with RHD though too but that's just me. Can't wait for you to bring the "DR34M"to the USso I can see it in person. Then someday when I'm in Australia, I can see it again like you did with that 35. Cheers!!
I totally understand you and what you mean by how the internet destroyed the R34... Every time I go anywhere, I always get asked "do you have an RB30??", "how much HP do you have" or "how much did it cost". I try to explain the driving experience is unlike any other car but they only concern themselves with what the internet thinks, that being, it should make 1000hp or else it's not an R34...
Bro my opinion. You build your car for you, fuck the Internet because everyone seems to know every thing these days and that’s just not it. “I don’t care what you think of my car I build it the way I wanted it” Anyways keep up the good work and love the vids, honestly chefs kiss 😘👌
Awesome intro & complete vlog, was not boring at all. A bit like Vin Wiki but more interesting😜‼ What a coincidence seeing that R35 in NSW, its probably been to more countries than most of us🤣🙌🏆⚡👏🏻🔥🥳🍾📸🥇💯🎫‼
Imop I loved JDM cars for the fact you could buy one cheep chuck a couple g's in it and beat up on some domestic cars, now that's not a thing and we have no domestic cars,
In the best meaning possible, your videos give me original F&F vibes, big time. It feels like you're getting and giving us a glimpse of a hidden world. Plus, giving us your own story and dreams intertwined with the content is inspirational. Can't wait for the next one!
