Indeed...totally glorious. Too bad they have such a small gene pool and are becoming susceptible to a number of serious health issues.

😊This breed of horse is my favorite breed..These horses are extremely intelligent and require a rider who really knows a horse. Love them❤.

Hey! Friesian horses are also great as leisure partners, it all depends on the horse itself, the character and how you fit together as a team. :)

I can't get over their beautiful, unique gait....and angered at those who try to insist it is forced upon them...ridiculous! Watch footage of 1week old foals, to see that Friesians are born with their own, distinctive gait! Thank you for your posting... Lisa 🇭🇲🐨🌏. 🐎👍💖

What I find incredibly sad about them is they used to be of all colors, then the crisis in 19th century caused the to go nearly all black cuz of inbreeding. Also that they have rather short lifespan, probably also cuz of inbreeding.

;-) From plough horse from some obscure rural region in the Netherlands to one of our most overbred, expensive and succesfull export products for Holywood fantasy films and women 😉😉😉😂😂😂😂 black horse + long manes = soaking women
