It's great living in a country that some believe supporting and paying MORE taxes is okay... It's bizarre. They're fine with the government stealing MORE money that they didn't earn. How much money should Canadians fork out in taxes?? How much is okay? HOW ABOUT STOP SPENDING AND WASTING BILLIONS AND BILLIONS OF DOLLARS!?!? Revenue isn't the problem, spending and waste is.

Who is this Jim Carr's former staff? The $1M exemption is for QSBC shares only, not some broad based exemption. Also, the exemption goes up based on indexing which is provided by the Income Tax Act. It has NOTHING to do with Freeland.

The IMF, Freeland keeps mentioning, gave to Egypt 7.2 billion from the G20 during Covid, (remember we can't find a lot of missing money), Billions. The IMF has a bad reputation. This is sickning.

As a working person this is yet another Liberal tax on me. It affects me because it kills business in Canada. It affects me because our few doctors will move to a more tax friendly country. This will have no effect on the rich because they can afford accountants and lawyers to find loopholes. One way or another…….we have to have an election.

The lifetime capital gains exemption is not for any capital gains. It always goes up with indexing and is only for very specific circumstances. Clueless???
