My poppy was a massive leaf fan. He died in 89'. I've prayed to the hockey gods for the leafs to win a cup for him ever since then. It's been a minute.
As a Detroit Red Wings fan, I can’t imagine this, I was fortunate, 10 in 1997, I was born into Roman decadence and witnessed the fall, but at least we’ve been to the top
The fans did the same as the Toronto nhl team. Celebrated making it to the second round, and head off too torontos annual golf tournament, That toronto-makes-me-laughs players have been winning since 1968 lol
I'm a bruins fan and I feel bad for leafs fans. They're jerks but so are we. But if they don't stick behind an organization who just doesn't care. It's commendable. I don't know how such an offensively loaded team can't win. Leafs are a wagon up front. Maybe joe Woll will help. He was a stud in college but they need solid defense. It's all show and no go.
This is what being a Toronto Maple Leaf fan does to people… Turns most of them into Alcoholics 😂😂😂😂 if the leafs keep losing this guys gonna have Kidney failure 😂😂😂
And next year he'll be cheering on the leafs thinking the Leafs gonna win the Cup..happens every year with the Leafs fans they always prematurely get their hopes up only to get them squashed
@@thespeculum785 Dissimilar comparison. Rooting for a team is a conscious decision you make. That decision can be influenced but the bottom line is you make an active choice to do it and invest in that team emotionally, and probably do the same on a social level. The other is a thing you have absolutely no control over what so ever. Don't need to be a learned logician to see the problem with the comparison.
Why, the Leafs are a business, they sell out constantly, they always are huge in merch sales and they basically claim all of Canada ( outside the metro areas of the other Canadian teams) as their own. Why improve when the money keeps rolling in regardless?
I'm 56 years old and I've never seen them when the Stanley cup. 56 years and they've never made it to the finals. stop buying the jerseys. There's no point putting a winning product on the ice when the product that they give us maximizes The potential profit.. The only way this team is going to win a Stanley cup is when the fans refuse to spend their money. At that point the corporation will put a product on the ice that will attract dollars. But until then there is absolutely no incentive for the ownership to spend any money or put a better product on the market.
The drunk said " we havnt made it to the 2nd round "since he was born and now he can drink. Obviously quite a bit . My comment was now the drunk can say they havnt made it to the third round since he was born.
When are these leaf fans gonna open their eyes...no matter how how much money they pump into getting supposedly great players...the players feel once you're in with the leafs...they've hit the relax mode...they're at their highest point in their career...and wait to be traded for more money and then they try hard just to win the cup...lol
Lions fan here. Don't have a playoff win in my life and never even been to the SB despite being in the NFL since the start. Noone has it as bad as us. But unlike cowboy and leafs fans, we know we suck.
Stop going to their games. That will shake things up. The owners know TO fans will ALWAYS pay big bucks to see the games. They have no care about a Cup. The Leafs should have traded up in the draft getting rid of Mathews.
We want Florida lmao fan gave all the momentum to Florida lol. If I was a player on Florida I watch the video every game and come with different energy to win that round
Leafs fans are like the guy or girl who gets lead on from the popular guy or girl in school only to find out they were being played with at the end there suckers
Maple leafs suck because each player plays for their own goals and not a teams goals. Everyone kills it in the reg season for chasing their own records. 3 plays at 40+ goals 😂😂. And combined their only scored a few times in round 2. They need to trade everyone including Mathews because he’s gonna walk after next season!
