To FRYETTE: I have a PS100(which I love) HOWEVER:: I was wondering If the cyclops in ANY way solves the problem of Not being able to hear the Effects in the effects loop in the outgoing "line out" (either balanced or unbalanced) that goes to the DAW. You stated that the "effects loop" is AFTER the "line out" Thereby nullifying any effects in the loop. So the only way I can see around this is: Going from the "Balanced line out into the input of the effects chain...then from the effects chain out, into the DAW...Is that about it???
I love my ps2a and will even more so once I get this not having to disconnect and connect cables in using with my amp and my one pre-amp. Great product!
Thanks Steve mines pre-ordered. I ordered all my cables in special lengths so it will be nice and neat. I've been using my power station with my Studio Plexy 20 watt. Love my power station, have my name on the list for the 100 watt. CW
I am moving from a house to an apartment. So I need to get a PS2 and Cyclops for my rig. I already own a number of tube preamps (AB763 clone and a Mesa Recto Preamp), a Kemper, and UA Ruby and Lion pedals. I also own a Voodoo Lab GCX and an RJM MMGT-10. So I was thinking of going the extra mile and integrating the looper to select sources (preamp, modeler, amp in box pedals, etc.) with the Cyclops. I understand how Cyclops is routed with the PS2. But I want to confirm where I'd insert the looper's output to select the source. Am I correct that I'd connect the output loop of the GCX to the Cyclops Preamp IN and Out?
Thanks for the confirmation. I have a ‘68 Bandmaster and a Mesa Recto Pre 20/20 rack rig. So yes, I plan on connecting both a selection of sources through a looper and a tube amp. I will use the Cyclops to switch between the amp and line inputs. Btw, I assume I can use my MMGT-10 MIDI controller to switch the Cyclops. It has available relays to do the job.
