As we prepare to step into another new chapter in the series with Village coming out soon, we're first going to pause and look back at this instalment, and talk about its complete story from beginning to end.
I feel like the creaters enjoys to torture Chris he keeps losing more men and he still will lose in RE8 poor Finn and Marco and Piers they were good soldiers
This title was the main reason I bought a PS3 back in the day. Enjoyed RE4 so much I HAD TO play RE5. Truly had a blast with it. And the new *Type 2 Plagas* along with the *Majini* were so much fun! Very creative!
This game is a blast with a co-op partner, especially Mercenaries mode. The DLC Lost In Nightmares should have been the opening of the game it would have made the Jill reveal far less clunky.
i dont mean to be offtopic but does someone know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost my password. I love any help you can give me!
@Graysen Santiago Thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
FYI slight spoilers If you've already beaten RE8 and found Miranda's lab, it's revealed that Spencer was an apprentice of Miranda's and got the idea of umbrella from his travel's to the village. It's also revealed that the virus spoken about in Spencer's notes that was unleashed in Africa is indeed a direct tie in to RE5. Your welcome..
Did anyone else have a problem with getting the last achievement to help a friend? It was my last and only one I never got because it wouldn’t work no matter how many times my best friend and I tried. We had everything unlimited we had the precious golden egg but alas that one trophy achievement remains out of my grasp till this day.
@@jackjax7921 i finished it on veteran in 2 hours, ai isnt broken per say, its very selective when it wants to work tho, it works better with sheva having a shotgun/sniper
Resident Evil 5 is actually my favorite of the franchise. Mainly because it's a linear story progression versus silent puzzle solving and running back and forth until an unrelated cutscene.
This game may not have been scary and some parts of the campaign were slow, but there was no denying that the cheese was still there and the action was fun, ESPECIALLY Mercenaries!
there is a mod that takes off the green tint and show the original colorful graphics, just google resident evil 5 without the green stint mod and you will find it
I loved 4 so much that I pre order the 100$ RE5...wasn't inlove with the game tho. The beginning of this game was awesome after that it just drizzled away
Honestly I’m watching this summary because the version of the game on Steam just doesn’t want to work for me (damn Windows Live), so I’m hoping I can just jump straight to 6 lol
I do like the game and its fun, but the story is so confusing and there was less horror and more action. There should've been more horror elements and had a simple story
The reason was I think originally re5 was supposed to be last resident evil game made so they wanted to finish out the conclusions of the franchises story but such positive fan feedback and want for more prompted them to continue making the games
@@spineless_ the evidence you require is by playing the resident evil games and not skipping the cutscenes. It is said straight up by spence in 5 wesker died in racoon city and the one in 5 is a clone. Plus more lore in the series.
Does anyone have an example of the Ouroboros virus ever being used successfully on a subject? The black tentacle monsters are all supposed to be failures. When do you ever see a test subject that is compatible with it? Can some super hardcore fan explain this to me?
There isn't any successful uroboros subject known in the game all of the people injected with it turned into some black tentacle monster, except wesker
@@CompetitionChris once again, Chris Redfield lol. I think the Heisenburg dude in the trailers is going to be Jake Wesker, Idk why but I've felt that way since the beginning.
@@carlaleta5514 We'll just have to wait and see, my theory lines up with his ending ib RE6 all we know is he was living in a cold isolated part of Europe. It's actually not that far fetched he could end up being one of the main villians from this point on.
Lol, no way they'll give their worst RE games for everyone for free. Capcom isn't too proud of RE5 and RE6. They want us to forget them. At least RE5 was a fun one.
Just OK game.... as for the gameplay it wasted everything good about Re4... and in my opinion, the worse set of boss fights of the series, too many quick time events... a warning of what was about to come in re6
