She is in Heaven with our mighty Lord, and in an honored place, I have no doubt. A special person. We are honored to have people like the good Doctor walk among us. I know you are in your glory now, well earned, true servant of the Lord. Thank you for what you left behind for all of us.
As an American who was a student in 1972 at the Swansea Bible College of WALES, I had the privilege of listening to Doctor Helen Roseveare tell her powerful story as a Medical Missionary to the Congo. Her testimony of suffering during the Simba revolution was so gripping. We students were saddened by the awful experiences she was forced to go through. I never forgot her, over the years I have shared her story with relatives and friends. Seeing these videos about her on the youtube surprised me. But it was so good that seeing her she reminded me of my days in Swansea, South Wales, and the two years I spent in South Viet Nam, and the many opportunities I had to share Christ in those years to Vietnamese and also Koreans as well. Thank God for every opportunity you have to share Christ with others. Thank God in Christ for Doctor Helen Roseveare!!! I visited WEC headquarters in Bulstrode,London years ago it was a good experience.
Dear heavenly father thank you for Helen and the vessel she was to us through your grace. Lord I pray that we who call you our savior, love like Jesus. All praise, honor and glory to God Almighty in Jesus name Amen and Amen
I only got to know about her this afternoon. Didn't know she's already with the Lord. Kind of sad and on the other hand very happy she's with our Lord!
As I watch, I observe all the elderly and it is something I always wondered about. What is the current generation doing. As I noted to a Christian brother the other day when he asked " Why dabble in history?" I responded as his life did not show the fruits of the Spirit. Is Jesus just history one should not dabble in?
