There is a similar but not really. Sykunno and Jodi got the "lovers" in Among Us. But I think Jodi and John were also Imposters. Jodi had to choose how she wanted to win (I think this is how that game went)

The OP part about Lovers is that if you stick together and you know there’s only one imposter, it’s an auto win for at least one of you. Because the imposter can’t kill one of you without the other one reporting and both of you know each other aren’t imposters making late game votes super easy lol it’s pretty cool

it could be called griever or something! If your lover partner dies you have the opportunity to kill one person out of a group of potential killers, like it will highlight three names in the next meeting and one of them is the one who killed your lover. you get one shot to shoot and reveal if they are imposter or not

@@ohnod3107 The other option is to maybe you can kill pretty much anyone, but you have to kill your lover's killer yourself to win? If they get voted it doesn't count, the mourner has to do it. That could make things interesting

@@rogue9328, you guys are igniting my imagination, man. I think this role should be pretty rare. And I think it should be different depending on whether the Lover that died was a Crew or Imp. If the fallen Lover was an Imp and got killed by a Sheriff, then the remaining Lover (I think Widow is a better name) has to kill the Sheriff in order to win. If the fallen Lover was a Crew, then the remaining Lover has to kill the Imp to win, and it works like how you two were talking about. However, if the fallen Lover was _voted_ out, then the remaining Lover becomes an Executioner who then has to get the group to vote for one the people that voted for the Lover.

So, the roles went like - Sydney started as shifter, shifted with John who was a giant engineer, so Sydney became a giant engineer while John became shifter. - John shifted with Jodi who was lovers with 5up, so John became lovers with 5up while Jodi became shifter - Meeting - Jodi shifted with 5up who was lovers with John, so Jodi became lovers with John - 5up shifted with Jodi who was lovers with John, so 5up became lovers with John - Meeting - Jodi shifted with John who was lovers with 5up, so Jodi became lovers with 5up - Meeting - John (the shifter) dies, Sydney catches Peter as the undertaker - Meeting (Peter voted out, Syanne sus) - Meeting (Syanne still sus, Jodi announces her love for 5up) - Jodi dies - Meeting (everyone knows it’s Syanne by this point, she’s voted out)

I hope that someone can code a new role: Opportunist. The opportunist will try to kill an impostor and permanently assume their role. There will be no penalties for guessing wrong and killing crewmates. But carelessness will raise the chances of the impostors winning and you losing.

A soap opera about this could me made. Bi man stuck between two people, begins to switch within them, then the two people leave him, but then one comes back and then one of them ends up getting murdered, but they advendge him, and also discover the killers accomplice but they kill one of the lovers and the one remaining reamins alive but alone. It literally sounds like a classic telenovela.

Okay but imagine a serial romantic role. Whenever their partner dies/someone tries to steal their love, the culprit replaces the previous lover/becomes an additional lover. they could collect lovers or switch back between being good and bad whenever their lover changes.
