I personally understood her logic; she wasn't more offended, she was going "Nice try, åsshole! Good luck finding my apartment when you don't even know what part of town it's in!" but it's STILL a hilarious moment.
the cast of Micronesia just looked into the future. they knew james would have no banana etiquette; thats why they didnt want to invite him to the family dinner
@@eizyaws no i agree. i think they wouldnt want to bring him because he seems to eat more than the other castaways. i was just joking around. very good point!
My favorite part of the All-Stars challenge is while Alicia fumes over being picked as "least deserving", Shii-Ann is like "yeah I get it, I came in 10th place in Thailand"
I couldn't believe they picked her! She was great in Australia! And at least she made it to the jury! Rob and Shii Ann both ended in 10th place, but I think they deserved to be there all the same. They were iconic even in their original seasons. Still, I could have understood if people picked Shii Ann. But you know who the real, obvious answers were? JENNA AND AMBER!
The lowkey funniest moments in these challenges happened in Amazon and All-Stars when Rob C. and Boston Rob (the biggest B.S.ers on those respective seasons) played the long game by responding to the question “Who is the most honest?” with their own names.
You know despite being voted easiest to succumb to intimidation Courtney takes Shane threatening to murder her without any fear. I'd be grabbing Matthew's machete. 😂
Of all the things Survivor doesn't do anymore that I want back, this tops the list. I LOVED this challenge. It always turned things on their head as the one on the bottom of an alliance realized it and then went chaos and changed up the game.
So let’s think about this. For Matt to have thought he was the most crushed on, in a group of 3 women and four men, he must have thought one of two things: Either he said himself and thought all three women did too, or one of the other strait men put him too. I can’t figure out which is more crazy.
I couldn't believe they even put that question there in the first place! What were older, isolated, or romantically committed contestants like Butch and Christie SUPPOSED to say?!
MAJOR thanks for the props to Stacy - she's one of my favorite minor characters as as well & you completely encapsulated her in an appreciative way ! Another great vid all around!
Survivor used to be so much more interesting. It used to be about the players. I miss these challenges man. It felt like we used to care a lot more about someone's "placement" in the tribe and now we just are waiting for someone to shake things up for no reason.
I still hear Rupert in my head saying “you gotta stop telling people to hit me”, as well as Jenna’s laugh at him answering himself to “who is under the false assumption that they’re smart”
I never understood how the part of Shane’s statement that upset Courtney the most was that he described her apartment as shitty. Not that he threatened to kill her. Did that bother anyone else?
Pretty sure she’s just joking because she doesnt take him seriously. That’s the kind of thing I’d say to someone saying stupid stuff to me. He was miserable the whole season if I remember right, maybe she wasn’t letting him get to her?
my underrated fave moment is from one world when everyone unanimously said they would trust kim with their life (including kim herself lol) when doctor tarzan is RIGHT THERE lmao
Casaya was just the perfect storm of disfunction... except they dominated the game like few tribes before and since.. .. and the fact they picked each other was awesome..
Luke, you have outdone yourself again mate! Well delivered, the timing of your jokes and speech in general, on your voice recording is top notch. Not judging you, just wanna give you feedback, its only my opinion at the end of the day. Love your work mate!
Matt gave a legitimate guess at a question asked before the last one that would have won him immunity. Perhaps he threw it when he noticed Rob could win immunity? Hard for me to believe he wasn't joking given the gender ratio and he knew they viewed him as crazy lol.
The funny thing though about Crazy Matt is that he's actually not that crazy irl. Quirky, yes, but not a criminal. He's actually super sweet, intelligent, cultured, and talented.
Unpopular opinion. Matthew is more attractive than Heidi by far. I never got the Heidi appeal at all. Jenna was easily more natural and definitely prettier... and Heidi could've easily challenged Matthew in the whole 'lookin' like a crazy person' contest.
another great part of the panama one is that shane is the answer to who mistakenly believes they are running the game, then shane denied it, then said later in the same episode that he was running the game. omg priceless
Matthew was actually named one of People Magazine's Top 50 Bachelors once. So him claiming that he's the one others have a crush on wasn't entirely without merit.
lol I wonder why everyone ganged up on Stacy in final 9 in Fiji. at that point Stacy was sort of a swing vote and floating between alliances, you'd think everyone would be trying to kiss her ass and make her feel loved
I usually roll my eyes at nostalgic "things were better in my day" comments, but I have to agree with this one. I started watching at season 32, and even only 10 seasons later, they've managed to suck out a lot of the elements that used to make Survivor fun in favor of long conversations about strategy.
The first time this challenge is used in season 4 is the most important because it led to the pair of pascal and neleh to realize theyre on the bottom. Then they flip on their original tribe which is the first time that ever happened.
I want to believe that Matt was throwing the challenge when he voted for himself as the one the others have a crush on.... but this was the same guy who took his secret agent role in "The Chain" completely seriously.
I hate that Jeff got rid of the challenge because players were smart enough to game the system. The game is clearly intended to cause drama (which is what you don't want as a player). Jeff gotta stop acting like it's the player's fault that the challenge is gone. Its his fault for not accepting that the intent of this game was defeated by a synchronized alliance
While this might be one of the most entertaining Survivor challenges I can’t deny how much I personally hate it. Like you can tell by the gush of emotions the competitors show when a family visit occurs which shows deep isolated struggles they faced in campsite, to add insult by isolating them socially more by asking very sensitive questions like who is the most unbearable in camp and who would u rather be home etc is really devastating I can’t see myself hanging in camp let alone winning after I end up on the bad end of it!
"While everyone else lets their negative answers roll off their back.... Jenna even emphatically agrees when everyone says that she never shuts up. " Umm... I feel this shouldn't surprise a soul, but I think it's easier to let a group of people tell you "you talk a lot/too much" roll of your back (especially when you agree with it) vs. a group telling you "You are are not smart" (especially when you don't). This should be news to no one.
Mathew is my favourite second place player of all time, and I low key wish he won. I don’t think he really played that great of a game, but it was pretty on par with Jenna’s strategy wise. I mostly just think it would be fricking hilarious if he won. He seems like a pretty decent guy but he’s also so creepy and insane.
The top 7 of All Stars is insane. You have every player invited back who did NOT make the final episode of their season sans Jerri. Could you imagine? Its 2004. You saw the cast list for all stars. And someone told you the top 7 included all of he bottom 7 players minus 1? Dont get me wrong. Amber, Rob, Jenna and Shii Ann came back to player much superior games from their first time around. Games worthy of an All Star. But still, the likelihood of 6 of the 7 worst ranked players made top 7 is insane.
Because in a variation of this challenge on SJDS the alliance of Jon, Jaclyn, Missy, Baylor and Natalie all decided when it was down to them to just throw the challenge so the 3 people they discussed ahead of time could go on a reward. Jeff overheard them talking during the challenge and just called it off and told them to pick the winner. Since then they haven't done this challenge. I guess they're worried about this repeating as it makes boring TV. The point of the challenge is to reveal alliances and reveal what people think of each other. Basically, to stir up drama. That alliance basically made this do the opposite. I think they should bring it back as I have a hard time believing it would happen again.
