What!! OMG!! Thank you soooo much Mark!! ❤ I had to shake my head, lol. We honestly can't say enough how much we appreciate your continued support and encouragement. Thank you!!🥰❤🥰❤
Wow!!! It’s DETAILED!! I wish the tree was attached to the build and not a separate build. I’m sure it’s an easy fix though. That deck sure does look fun to build! Love how easily the battery pack is to access. Very neat looking!!! Amazing video and build 😊😊
FunWhole is knocking it out of the park! I have been waiting on the Old West Freight Train since it was announced and this set looks like a great fall build!
They really are. The Old West Freight Tain will look so good with the Saloon and Sherrifs office for sure. Come back in a couple of hours and you just might see a new review that you will be interested in 🤣🥰
Oh my. Such a hard choice honestly. Pantasy has tons of licensed sets along with very unique designs. FunWhole also has amazing sets that all come with lights. They are both equal when it comes to quality and fun. Having said all that, I guess I just can't choose, 😔 lol. They both offer different but equal building experiences for me.
The labeling of the part lengths makes so much sense and is so needed, I can't believe lego hasn't copied that idea yet. I struggle all the time when there's multiple candidates. I guess it's the nature of leds, but I feel the lights should be just a bit less bright, especially noticeable in the water and bike lantern. Should be more of a soft glow. Or maybe it's just the way it looks on camera.
I agree, the part lengths make things so much easier!! For the LEDs, i think it depends on how much is around the light as well. For example, T The bicycle area where light reflectd off the walld and roof around it in such a small area, makesmir look much brighter. Especially on camera. If that makes sense, lol. ☺
Looks great, but like with other sets with pitched roofs I wish they would find a way to get rid of the gaps between the roof and the pointed area (do not know name). It bugs me so much, hard easy would it be to make the pointed part flat so the roof lays flat with no gaps?
@SheClicksBricks -- Hey, so as of Monday morning August 26 nothing on the Mountain Cabin at either Funwhole (USA) or Amazon. Listed as "sold out" (not "out-of-stock"). I know you are not a representative of the company -- just reviewing sets from various Lego alternative companies. But, I thought I'd follow-up and ask if you know anything further about date for availability of this set in USA. Thanks.
Ahhh, just saying the words "mountain cabin" evokes so many fond memories. And I was so hoping that the potential of this set should be been great. However, the lighting and the inside are pretty much are the best parts of this set (with some minor issues -- like who designs a cabin without a bathroom, come on!). There are way too many issues to go into and the perfectionist in me also sees way too many exterior aesthetic design issues. But, a couple of the biggest are the choice of design aesthetic on the exterior siding (and as you also mentioned) I also don't like the fact that balcony is attached to the base build and can't be removed. Having the siding go vertical under the gable end and leaving it with so many odd gaps at the underside of the eaves is just unacceptable for the architect in me. Plus, I think also that there is just too many competing things trying to happen around the exterior -- between the bike ramp, the juxtaposition between odd printed pieces and the brick built foliage, the strange jagged edge on the right side of the balcony, how the hot tub is tucked so far under the deck it's too hard to see that easily, and the haphazard way the topography is done just gives it too much of an unfinished feel to me with all the exposed studs and I also saw at least one exposed Technic piece as well. I much prefer LEGO's A-Frame cabin or Pantasy's Forest Cabin designs to this particular design by Funwhole. Don't know what demographic they were trying to go for here, the teen or the adult, but that's probably the exact problem with this set. By trying to appeal to too many potential buyers they really didn't hit the mark correctly for either one. I'll probably pass on this one, as there are many other better designed Funwhole sets available. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming!!
Thank you. ❤ Do you have a favourite of the AFrame Cabins out there? My husband actually had an idea to do a comparison with the Lego version, the Pantasy version and the FunWhole version. Just need to get my hands on all 3 to make it happen 😊
Hi. Upon checking just now this item is not stocked at Funwhole (or Amazon). This is a new product, right -- so it should be in stock soon? I have the Lego A-Frame cabin and Pantasy Wood cabin and this would be a great addition to those.
Correct, this is a new product. It is availble in Canada right now but will be available on FunWhole and Amazon US Tomorrow 😁. This will look stunning with your Lego and Pantasy cabins. Thank you for the support.❤
Wow this does look amazing and the lights!!! Do you have the Pantasy cabin ( can’t recall) as I am wondering how they both look together or compare in size etc.
@rosemarie9956 It is very beautiful. 😔 I do not have the Pantasy cabin, sorry. What I can tell you is it is just a tiny bit shorter than the Book Cafe and almost twice the width. Hope that helps!!
Nice to see PDF Instructions, The colours once again so well to what the set is, if that makes any sense. I love the Hot Spring, super nice addition. Great review guys with a lovely set by FunWhole once again. 5 Star ***** 👻
