Another well thought out review mark as usual mark.i like this mod.yes there is a couple of small issues but nothing I could not live with.overall the price point the quality of finish I think this will be a winner. Will definitely be adding one to the colection when I can
Now I mostly use green, white or the bottles that's slightly tinted in my black mods. All my black bottles is no longer in my rotation, cause I also find it really hard to see through a lot of the ones I have used. Thanks for the review Mark.
Great great review, excellent job on an amazing brand ! Thanks E-Phoenix, and thanks Mr Todd for mentioning Sweetch E-cigarette. Greetings from Switzerland !
Great review as always. I can understand the desired design effect at the top with scoop down effect after the atomizer. It just seems if they wouldn't of scoop down so much and gave it a mm more width they could of at least allowed for a 20700 battery. I don't think there would of been to much difference in the design if they would of included room for that type of battery as well. Then they could of address the battery contacts better. It is almost like the thought in the mind was there for a larger battery since they had a loosish spring. Looks great and for the price point not bad. Oh well made version 2.0 or 1.5 since E-Phoenix likes to go with half versions. Have a good one Mr. Todd.
Quite an achievement to reach that kind of price point whilst being made in Switzerland, although I'm sure their money will be made in additional doors more than in the mods themselves - and there's nothing wrong with that.
Just bought this today, so far so good, beautifully made and the price is on point. One thing i noticed is my doors dont pop out when squonking, maybe they've changed the tolerances to make it a tighter fit, because it certainly takes a good tug to pull the doors out which is great because i hate janky doors lol. Overall pretty impressed though, beautiful work of art.
Hi mark, just got the fury on your recommendation and loving it! Just wanted to let u know that the sjmy clear bottles fit in perfectly without having to remove the housing. Hopefully that helps 😊 keep up the great reviews. Tks
Thank You for the very good review!! one question can you tell me if the Fury is regulated as well in the max watt? something as 80 or 100 watt max, or the mod can deliver all the power the battery and the resistant we put on it like a real mechanical mod? . Thank You again!!!
Great ''post-review'' information in the community section! Do you still have the issue with the door being pushed out when using a BFX or Lokkus bottle? Seems like that issue might be gone when that internal part is removed.
Not bottles I use myself, using ModMaker bottles here but I would bet my last dollar that any bottle you put in will push out against the door. It's not a real issue in all fairness.
I have the "The Key" and it too has a very low pin. This makes using a Beauty ring impossible for most RDAs, and several RDAs do not work also without a beauty ring. I do want to mention that the guys that sell these mods are really nice and they respond back to you right away. The other gripe is the price, I have custom made mods that cost less. Todd, the fact that the doors push out when squonking is most definitely a major issue. Lets face it that almost every mod has the same components, what separates them is how well they designed it. Granted this mod does have more safety features than most its still just a battery enclosure. The other major issue on all E-Phoenix mods is the 510 not being able to fit every rda because of the pin being too low. I was told that there mods are designed for their RDA. Good company, but the mod failed in looks and design. With all the mods out there now companies really need to step up their game because I am not seeing prices dropping.
The Red Pill Network - Yep the issue has been solved, the one I bought has the pin raised up, and I use the b2k and entheon with beauty rings without any problems.
Thank you again for reviewing a new product. This one leaves me a bit cold, even though I love this company generally. I can’t see any advantage to this mod over the Tony B BF and see too many disadvantages by conmparison. ASide from the 18650/20700 obvious difference, the price point is not that compelling. Take Asmodus’s Luna, for example-a stabwood squonker for $90. I don’t like the squonking bottle design and have seen that problem on the Project Septum front feeding squonkers also. I get that this is metal, not plastic, and maybe that makes up for the price point, but the additional cost for colored doors, the loose battery, the black bottle, the doors pushing out and lack of 20700 make it less compelling for me. Also, I wonder if those Juma doors are true Juma or just made to look like Juma. The pattern on the Juma door you showed is quite large, unlike much of the Juma I have seen,
Todds Reviews I get it. I am just more inclined to go with their more expensive squonkers, although I am trying to be more disciplined about purchases. Thanks again.
