The lore of calamity leads to so many bombshell moments. The moment i realised that The Roar Of The Jungle Dragon was a conversation between Yharon and Yharim, about the player...That was kinda shocking, though also the coolest shit ever.

Hi! Calamity mod lore writer here along with Mrrp. A lot of the information you presented here is outdated or missing (for the record, Yharim had a father and Yharim's brother's name has been namedropped).

Yharim isn’t related to Lizhards. Also going to ask again, please put a disclaimer for this stuff since it’s largely wrong instead of claiming that it’s genuine since it spreads misconceptions. I’ve already noted that the lore is incomplete and a huge portion of details are missing and outdated. If you want proof of this information, check the discord where a lot of this is kept up to date. I’m Mrrp there as well.

There is always a note in the description of every Calamity video explaining that the mod is ever changing and the video may become inaccurate with future updates. Additionally, I detail which of the wiki pages I got my information from as I was to believe the Discord was mere discussion and ideas for the lore with nothing confirmed unlike the wiki. Also from the research I conducted fans seem to believe that Yharim is a Lizhard due the lore description of the Golem.

Rational Gamers It still adds to misconceptions which’ve been around for a while and’re pretty difficult to stamp out, as youtube is a huge platform, so it’s more that the disclaimer in the description should’ve been clearer. Thank you for getting back to us though.

Is the Calamity Mod worth trying? I'm on the fence about it because of what I've heard, mainly stuff like the best stuff being locked behind Hardcore mode and the fact it shifts the focus away from Terraria's story.

psyxypher I know it’s 3 weeks but I assure you hardcore gives you one item and its cosmetic, the mod can be played in any way you want as Fabsol/Mountain Drew/Cirrus has made the mod playable on all difficulties Normal/Expert/Revengence/Death however Rev gives you more items to suit the play style you please. The mod includes post-moon lord content and a new class, and new biomes, heavily consider trying it out

"Genuine", are you sure about that? Did you even read the updated lore on the forums? You know, the official lore written by myself and the actual writers I have on my team? Most of the information here is incorrect, I appreciate that a lore video was made but this isn't the one Calamity deserved or needed.

I have 3 cards I put before these videos. One (like this video) to state that I have attempted to follow the actual lore of a game as closely as I can, one that states the video is a theory and one where the video is a story. Additionally, I do research on the Discord but as I have been led to believe that the discord is mere discussion and ideas and confirmed lore, as of the moment, is compiled on the wiki I try to focus on that.
