The mag is real, this isn’t my Emek, it’s the guy off screen that speaks first. He commonly switches between mag fed and hopper fed. Yes this is just dry firing showing the trigger is so light, if you can master the “Dynasty dragon claw” walking technique, you can get unreal bps from these mech guns. And yes, this is fully tournament legal in all major Classic series.
I think these things are technically impressive, and definitely good for the sport given that new players will have a more positive first impression of the game with one of these than if they're issued a blister pack Spyder. It's just a shame that they expedited the end of the mech tournament format's novelty. I showed up to my first one with a 2k cocker expecting more of the same and found every other team slinging ropes at 10bps with stock Emeks and eNMEys. Essentially just a speedball tournament seeing as those are capped at 10.5 anyway, exactly the kind of thing that turned me off of the sport once before. What I imagined would be a relaxed and beginner-friendly event was filled with the same aggro tourney assholes wearing $1000 in gear, blatantly playing on, trash talking and yelling at refs, etc. Maybe a bad first impression, but there's no way I'd pay money to attend another one even if it was at a different venue. Either way, at least in my area the mech tournaments and speedball tournaments are imperceptibly different, and I think that's a shame.
lol i have one if i had a 3d printer i would so make a long blade trigger and cut and make a new trigger guard so u can walk the trigger easily. was the trigger on that adjusted like springs ?
