I always wish these videos had more viewers. Thanks for your service. The general said he's the biggest show in town and only 108 views within hours of upload. Whereas fox news makes a gaffe or fun remark and within hours you'd get at least 500 views and 25000 overnight. The media could use this kind of material more I think. Thanks for making it!
I found out about this video by complete chance (I was reading a non related story and wanted to see if there was any current video of Gen. Neller (I'm a big fan of his style and straight forward speak). Fortunately, this video came up in a search. I've watched other CSIS videos, and they are always interesting.

In this day and age, it's not hard to research things for yourself...and anyone with the slightest ability to think critically (and I understand that there are plenty of people that won't, or can't do that) can get to the core of any issue and make an informed decision on where he/she stands. Entities like Info Wars is pouring gasoline on the "we want our information quick and and small soundbites" fire. It truly is dumbing down the public.
Very informative but video quality is very poor. Future war will be very complex in nature. Building alliances and bonding a trust among alliances will deliver.

How does the officer feel about US Corporations selling weapons and technology to US 'adversaries'? I am also curious how the officer and public feel about the US training programs that have trained terrorists using the terrorist strategies developed by US Military?

The casual talk and acceptance of offensive aggression warfare , or “ expeditionary “ as they call it , among the American public is extremely disturbing . I wonder if the reason is constant feeding of propaganda from childhood or perhaps because Americans never had to experience the horrors and atrocities of an invading army in their country , towns and streets to the point where they are completely disconnected with what it means and feels like to see your neighborhood destroyed by heavy artillery and rockets and bombs tearing your neighbors to pieces pr even foreign soldiers kicking in doors , taking your family away and shooting others all in a day of a war . God forbid but if it does come to that one day it will be that much more horrifying and terrorizing , in fact in the bible its prophesied that exactly that will befall the nation who lived safe and secure along its coasts for generations where in one hour everything will change. God forgive us all for oury wickedness
He also said that they'd pull up google earth to check on their camouflage position. Don't think it works that way, since the satellite images aren't real time, but then again, maybe the army has a different version. :P

There are two methods of expeditionary warfare, amphibious and airborne. One resides in the Marine Corps/Navy and the other in the Army/Air Force. All four branch's have doctrine disagreements with the other. Nothing has been done since WWII to fix the situation.
There is nothing that needs to be done, we are a joint force. Marines just got rid of tanks and the new air lift for the marine corps will have better assault and gunship ability than the previous generation so it seems like the problem is already solved. Afaik there hasn't been a problem where either water or air had to ever compete for what they needed but if you know of am instance I'd be interested to hear it I don't mean pentagon budget quibbles I mean has there ever been a time when a US battlefield commander was let down because he wore the wrong branch uniform that day?
