@@iBeRAW247 you never own a online portion of a game, servers are a service. They cost money to run, so paying for something you use is absolutly acceptable. You'd still own the game.

I feel like they might have a team specifically testing these player made missions and heists to make sure it's playable make sure there's no glitch to get more money and make sure that people aren't giving a payout of excessive amounts of money like maybe you have to make it decently hard if you want to make it worth 1 million dollars

December 5th actually seems legit for a 2nd trailer for the game without even considering this reasoning. I'm pretty sure we'll get the 2nd trailer on about the same day we had it last year, and then during 2025 we'll get more news more frequently. That's not based on anything though, just my own reasoning

They release information, then gauge the player reaction and can adjust from there if they want to, without ever actually making an official announcement.

@@adamlaski9128 haven’t been that involved in the community but knowing how rockstar treated gtaonline, it’s almost guaranteed they will find a way to monetize a big game mode like fiveM especially since their acquisition. They knew their was money to be made there lol

Thank you for the kinds words, but I wouldn't put making videos on the same level as making video games. Making games is much harder and requires years! Rockstar is great, I'm sure we'll see that when GTA 6 comes out :)

lol might wanna do some proper math this game doesn't have millions of players and hasn't for years between steam and consoles alone I guarantee this game only has maybe 250k-500k max combined with steam only peaking at over 171k in the past 24 hours and 99% of those people are running FiveM with GTAO having most likely less than either of those figures and that number has been rapidly declining because people are starting to wake up and realize how trash of a game GTA 5 is and how mediocre of a company Rockstar is and those numbers are gonna plummet more if this Project World Stage thing launches because it'll likely mean the death of FiveM meaning the PC side of the game will die

I think that, if all of this is indeed coming, they've been working on it for quite some time now and not just the past year or so. It's been in the plans for long enough that the potential release in October was planned with the 2025 window for GTA VI

I can definitely vouch for that. I'm perfectly happy to stick with GTAO even after VI releases. Hopefully this will be a way for Rockstar to basically pass the torch when they inevitably stop updating the game to focus on VI content.

@@fre_ I am happy to return and stick to what I got. If you're having fun with the games you do have... that is all it matters. If you wanna buy something just for your enjoyment, it is your wallet. Battle Royales were a phase back in 2017, and now in 2023-2024 ish - it really is now User Generated Content that is the thing. We got Forza Horizon 5 being successful with the EventLab feature, Fortnite popping of HARD with UEFN and Creative, Roblox being popular enough that creators make money out of it. I think Rockstar really should jump the bandwagon and give us Players the Creative Control to create new experiences and enjoyments. We got a lot of fun out of harmless glitches that got patched out quickly. If Rockstar is really creating these quick glitches just to say that the game is fine when patched out, what's the point in doing that. If you want people to keep talking about your game and what players have been up to, just give us complete control. Make missions from delivery missions to even multi-pat Heists. We played around with the Creator Mode, created interesting stories with the Rockstar Editor. If those signs aren't obvious to go ham on with Mission Editor, you clearly have your head in Shark Cards. We are RICH & BORED. Why can't we just make our own fun up for crying out loud. We are SOOO beyond Gran Theft Auto as being a game about burglary, robbing stores and stuff. It really is becoming a game and experience of its own. Apologies for the long reply. Went into my Thinking Out Loud Mode.

The game clearly has a LOT of potential to become way more than just a "crime simulator" - hell, just look at all the FiveM RP servers we already have right now, let alone with proper, full-blown creator tools in place. Currently I've reached a point in my GTAO playthrough where I've gotten pretty much everything I wanted, so usually I just play to help out my friends with their grind, do random missions, or just go for a nice cruise in my beloved Deluxo. I still have loads of fun, certainly, but I also miss that initial excitement I got when I was just starting out. A "GTA Studio" would very easily change that - I could even start making stuff of my own! BTW nice to see a fellow out loud thinker lmao

It’s definitely possible even potato laptops like the one I have can run gta rp smoothly. The PS5 is a legit computer it can handle more than you think
