I was there, we spent 2 hours walking and didn’t get through everything. At the end of the event I got a Stripper clip WWI .45 holster and a WWII German layborday pin from 1935.

Could you make a video explaining more about wood shrinkage. When I see the smallest amount and at one point, I get. Yet, there are so many I've seen where it could go both ways. Thanks a lot for your help!!

$600 is okay.. Was it RZM or pre RZM? Gaps don't look great, a put together I would say but that's possibly reflected in the price.. Sometimes a nice condition blade will make up for it... Personally I only buy very nice pieces knowing any defects will annoy me and that one day it will have to be sold again and the next buyer will haggle any defects... In present day US market $1000 is the start price for a decent SA dagger... 1000€ European Market.. Expect to add 50% to that price for a very good example.. That is: No gaps, no grip chips, pre RZM, an unpolished blade showing original fabrication lines, with no blade corossion/marks etc.. Rohm etchings etc will add much more to the price... My motto is that I only buy pre RZM unless the dagger is excellent and is priced reasonably... The pre RZM (heavy) models are just better made and with better materials...
