Dear Dr Tariq, I respect your views and the efforts you are putting to develop leaders of the Ummah. But I disagree with your view regards with Muslim revival. Reasons why muslim revival will not happen from the Arab world or Asian Muslims: 1. Islamic education is totally derailed in these countries, as narrow ideologies are being taught in Islamic schools. (Only Muslims of this jama'a are going to heaven, all others are going to hell) 2. The inequality in Muslim community in these regions (5-10% arr rich, 90-95% are poor). 3. The Muslim scholars in these regions are not equipped to guide/lead the new generation Muslims. 4. Corrupt and vile muslim leadership in these region. In my view, muslim revival will happen due to western Muslims. (Western scholars,western educated Muslims and new cinverts from west)
But brother this is what Dr Tareq has been saying about corruption, etc. If people accept Islam from darkness, why is it not possible that Islam revives from people who already accepted Islam but might be corrupted. Keep in mind Dr Tareq is taking about the long term vision when it comes to revival.
It’s not the west or the east or where it will originate from that matters or is as important as that it will take unity amongst Muslims whether they are in the east or the west. We must all unite everywhere we are and with every believer everywhere.
