I wanna know how she compares to Gepard and Luocha cuz I have both and I am considering pulling for her as well.

​​​​@@GigaChadBigW basically she's a downgraded fu xuan -Skill doesn't provide any buff -Damage reduction doesn't aligned with skill duration (imagine fu xuan skill provide damage mitigation for X turn but she only provide dmg reduction for 1st turn only) -Ult doesn't scale base on HP -(I'll add more if im not lazy) so fu xuan is her if done right

If 50/50 consent...

mitigation plays a part too i was doing a destruction run with blade/gep and my other supports were almost dying, i have decided i don't like this card now blades hp barely moved it was like support was taking it all so the extra dmg from blade was minimal it actualy made the fight harder especially when blade gets targeted he now has to share the dmg so does less himself. it had a detrimental affect with him.

​@@hidefhqI'd highly recommend using abundance with blade, not only does it keep him healthy (since he doesn't go based off of health values but hp in general), but also buffs up his hp increasing his dmg even further)

Abundance + split damage card is OPw with blade tbh

This is why I'll be running Landau on her. Hopefully rng doesn't ruin my run... Tho I don't think it will really matter, cuz Fu Xuan has dmg redirection to her and dmg reduction to the whole team. So Tingyun will be fine.

Beside her signature weapon. You only want either texture of memories or gepard lightcone since the base HP is the highest. ToM give 16% effect res, 32% shield based on HP or 24% damage reduction. Gepard LC give defense and increase aggro. I will take ToM for free. I rather enemies hit other unit rather than fu xuan to get free energy since she can sustain her own energy and stack.

does getting hit by the redirection counts for memories to proc?

@@isaac7272 well fu xuan doesn’t even need that much hp to survive. With decent relics she can easily tank everything even with 4 star lc stats since her base hp and def are extremely high. Landau/gepard lc makes solo sustain a bit easier because her heal may not be enough for other teammates if they get hit a lot (5% of 8k hp +133 is 533 heal per ult). It also gives her more energy from hits, so she can ult more and get more hp reversal uses. Her ult damage is actually decent so it’s also more dps. It should be better overall to run aggro lc unless your other units need to get hit for energy.

I think the way it's going to go is that preservation units are either solo sustain suffiicient (gepard, fu xuan) or they have additional utility aside from dmg mitigation, and you give them a more aggressive build while pairing them with abundance. e.g. Fire MC struggles with solo sustain, but they have very good break, so pair them with nat/lynx and run them as a break bruiser with bonus dmg mitigation utility.

Don't forget not only does she get 16 crit rate from longevous disciple, she gets 12% at max rank from her own matrix of prescience since it applies to all characters, 18% from her traces, and 5% base crit chance. She straight up has 50% free crit at base with not even 1 crit substat if you build her with longevous disciple. With just mainstat cd chestpiece and longevous disciple she's 50% crit and 110% cdam. I'm definitely doing the same thing as you

It will be better to go HP body, cause there isn’t much difference with dps, also you can check Blade’s builds, he does 2k less damage with full hp build.

Take it from someone who's done the math, on average, a crit body adds only about 2% damage at best vs. hp body. It's the same story in substats. Crit is nice, but HP is almost the same. If you want your fu to do more damage, go dmg orb with genius.

@@AdroSlice I think, full hp fu is more op, cuz the the difference between elemental and hp orb is also small. She has the almost the same hp% scaling with blade. Full hp blade is pretty good, they will have the similar build.

Her SP generation is pretty poor especially in CC-heavy stages bc her CC block only last once per skill, so SP heavy teams like DHIL probably don’t prefer her. Her buff is also not very useful on Kafka or invested Blade, so they might prefer Luocha for more SP (Kafka) or healing (for Blade to ult at over 50% HP and gain stacks for more follow ups). Jing Yuan teams would love her though bc delay CC is detrimental on him. Also mono Quantum if you don’t want to use Lynx.

​​@@kinkane1976as much as i do not like fx and i personally think she is a gepard sidegrade at best. Won't the first point be a problem for everyone? If you are in cc heavy fight you have to use sp to cleanse anyways with luocha or natasha and most cc in this game will not get you under 50% hp to trigger luocha auto heal. I don't see how this is a problem only for fx

@@ChrisXoxo-qh4xt I get what you mean, but it’s not exactly the same for every sustainers. Having a proactive play style like Fu Xuan means you can’t ignore any incoming CC at the risk of either your dps or Fu Xuan herself being CC’d. Cleansers have the option to let the CC hit, then choose whether or not to cleanse based on if you need your ally to move right then. So for example, the incoming CC froze your Tingyun and her buff is still active while your dps isn’t frozen, then you don’t have to waste SP to cleanse anyone. In Fu Xuan’s case, you don’t have that flexibility bc she can’t deal with the aftermath of a CC effect. On top of that, her baseline is already +1/3 SP rather than +3 SP. That means even in waves without CC she’ll be using SP just to function anyways, and in CC-heavy contents she can go SP negative on average during the entire fight much easier than other sustainers especially Luocha. Also this isn’t exactly about SP, but in CC-heavy stages like the previous MoC 10 with the two mages that shoot AoE CC right after each other, Fu Xuan’s CC resist will be used up on the first attack and leave the team vulnerable to the second attack with no remedy.

@@kinkane1976 these situations seems very niche and some of these problems can be easily avoided by breaking the enemy or even killing them before they even apply any cc onto your team. I feel like she will still be sp positive even in most cc heavy content. Eitherway i will still not recommend anyone pulling for fx. Better to wait for luocha rerun who is significantly better than her.

@@ChrisXoxo-qh4xt you’re right. They’re situations that don’t happen all the time, but where they don’t happen, other options also use less SP than her. Those examples are more to show the lack of flexibility rather than to make people hyperfocus on them. Like *if* they happen then she could become more gimmicky than her counterparts, but if it doesn’t then no one loses. The situation I can imagine her being significantly better than Luocha is where the delay from CC is detrimental aka Jing Yuan teams.

It was 100% of her HP at max basic atk levels back then, but now, just like Fu Xuan, her basics got nerfed to only 50% of her HP. I can still see Lynx + Fu Xuan making an immortal and undebuffable team + with some great dmg on critting HP scaling attacks though!

Unfortunately they nerfed both Fu Xuan’s and Lynx’s dmg, so no more funny tank/healer dmg😭

She will reverse the HP before her turn starts so idk if the 4 piece is that useful

Just an fyi, their HP buffs for Blade are barely any dmg boost at all. It might be worth more to just run another buffer/debuffer if you want to maximize performance, but if you just like them together then it works.

@@kinkane1976 I know, the problem itself is that he doesn't get to much from the harmony characters that we have now but I will try with different teams. Probably lynx will be enough for Blade btw

Yeah that's why I speed tune him with Yukong with Bronya's LC that crit damage buff is also good for him

She can solo sustain with one of her traces

*Dunjia, the Metamystic* trace: "When Fu Xuan's Ultimate is used, heals all other allies by 5% of Fu Xuan's Max HP + 133." Her signature LC also gives healing in battles with waves: "At the start of every wave, restores HP to all allies equal to 80% of the respective HP difference between each characters' Max HP and their current HP."

She is definetely not the ultimate solo sustain like Luochad, but she'll do it just fine keep building your dps and support, and especially support usually you just need to level them up and increase their trace level.

Could do, I’ll test slow variations ^^ only problem is she wants to cycle the ultimate

i really want to play arlan... got he e6 on blades banner and on thhaat event he felt really good to play but i think his kit is the stupidiest thing ever that could only work without a headach is with gepard and i dont have him... wich let me only with march 7... and no way in hell march 7 can easily solo sustain a team and yes, i know theres videos with her doint exactly that, but that too much of a hassle that i dont want to deal with

She hails from the china knockoff, ofc she's strong. I won't be surprised if most characters from the xianzhou laofu maintain superiority even 2 years down the line

For me, if both characters are equally desired, supports >> DPS. Daniel will eventually be powercrept and as a SP hungry dps he wont work as a sub dps. While if Fu is powercrept, that just means you can have even more survivability if you need it. That said, if you care more about the short term, then it comes down to how you feel like your teams can clear. Is your Jing putting out enough damage? Is your Blade team dying too much? Those answers will dictate who you want more I think.

Both options work lol so it’s weird, no idea :’) maybe other comments can help

@Kronman590 JY team has been able to clear in 7-8 cycles comfortably for MoC 10 but if next MoC changes so much I dunno yet. Blade hasn't really died on me when I play manually but his supports do haha. But I do agree with support > dps so im inclined to go with FX.

If you use Sig LC + ERR rope, you might need to get hit once or twice for a 3 turn ult. Without ERR rope, you need to get hit 3 or 4 times. Tho yeah, better wait for others to test. I personally will use Landau's Choice, as the increase aggro will let Fu Xuan take more attacks, meaning more energy gain for her, so I could just use HP% rope.

Well no harmony in 1.4 so you’re safe for at least a patch, but you technically don’t need her

so basically you have dps on both...blade doesn't want or need fu xuan and luocha actually heals him too much at the wrong time. Blades best healer is Lynx who will be in the Fu Xuan banner so you're getting 2 useful charcter on that 1 and you could use Fu Xuan on your 2nd non blade/seele/luocha team. to me Fu Xuan seems the way to go becaue it gives you a 2nd team carry. if DHIL can't survive he is useless. But Fu Xuan will only add to your team especially when you can afford the next DPS.

She would just become sustainable enough for usability and carve a promising niche for defense utility.

Just go full hp, with blades set, and she will get about 50% cr, you will some cr substats. There is no need to go CD body, she will do nice damage even with full hp build.
