For Africa to be self-dependent, we must adopt an unwavering mentality of fiscal responsibility and discipline towards leadership. The Africa continental free trade agreement is a necessary component towards the prospective unification of our nations. It is also a necessary instrument of self-governance that will teach us to consume what we manufacture and produce, and vice versa. We must, therefore, fight to establish this long-term inter-African socioeconomic agenda in order to revive our depleted African identity, which will, in turn, strengthen and propel our pillars of trade and commerce onto a wider global stage. #AfricaIsTheFuture

Thank you so much for this worthwhile informative interview concerning AfCFTA. Though other countries have a lot to do in developing their industries. I just hope we will not be overwhelmed by the goods from other African countries. Manufacturing Sector is a must. Skills Development is a number one priority. Without Skill you can't manufacture. Second hand clothes from western world should be stopped immediately! They add no value to anything only destroy environment as they bury a lot of those torn and finished clothes which are being dumped at our door steps. Seconded by Chinese plastic clothes or paper? I really don't know how to call them as they just melt down in water! Our government should work tirelessly to rectify things of this nature. They should take kin interest in the local African people especially youth and women! These people are the most neglected by our governments.

Totally agree, the old school African leader who has no vision and a puppet of the West should go Africa has a young vibrant population and we need younger leaders with a good vision for the future of Africa and unite Africa

Ok call me crazy...but this is the Africa trade agreement and China is ur first point before intra-Africa trade...yikes, I see where ur loyalty is! On the contrary, we need to reduce Chinese influence, to Africans, China, us, Europe at all at the same level as long as they are about fair trade and good products...African countries first, then the rest...and these idiots is what we call experts, wtf!
