The Future Queen of Spain Embarks On 4-Year Military Bootcamp 

I so appreciate the fact she has boot camp and four years of military duty. This bodes well. If someone is going to be commander-in-chief of any random military, they need a solid foundation in precisely what that means. Respect to The Royal Family of Spain from Arizona, USA

That is a lot of responsibility to feel on one’s shoulders, going through military service knowing the expectations of everyone in your performance because you and they all know you’re going to be the leader some day. I’ve been in the army 12 years and and an officer for 3, and it’s a lot of responsibility and pressure just as a young LT. May she do well and make her father proud and do right by her people and country

4 years of service isn't just bootcamp. She is being trained into her tradition

I think you don't quite get what "boot camp" is, She is basically going to a military academy not boot camp.

She's not in a "4 year bootcamp" as the caption says. It sounds more like she's going through their military training academy, which is like Sandhurst or West Point. NOBODY needs 4 years of boot camp.

She is stunning and so graceful. I hope she does her country well. The new generation needs strong leaders to navigate through the storm.

We need that here. Military service before becoming politicians. That way they remain public servants and not greedy snakes deciding the fate of their people.

I never knew anyone else with the name Leonor. I have it as a middle name and so does my mom. That was my great grandma’s first name and my Abuela decided to give it to my mom and then my mom to me. It’s a very beautiful name. I hope to keep the tradition alive.

Bootcamps dont last 4 years, they last a few weeks, shes going to a millitary academy there is a huge difference.

Its not just a "boot camp". She's obligated by law to serve a minimum of 4years in all 3 branches of the Spanish military: The Army, Navy and the Airforce.

My family we are of European descent We are half Spaniard and half Italian.. And I must say we are absolutely proud of Leonora will make her people proud When I see her it even makes me proud.. My siblings I went to visit the hometowns in Spain of our relatives who are still alive though very old.. and some that are in Italy as well Bravo Bravo to you your future as queen of Spain

They probably mean 4 years at a military academy or 4 years of service, I assume an academy since most likely she’d be an officer, being royalty and so on.

Yesterday evening I watched a movie titled “Queen” by Alex Haley filmed in 1986~ starring Halle Berry. As the 3-part series unfolded, I saw a similar message you listed here tonight Andy. The connection I made between the character and your message was this: “Self-Trust”. She lacked the frame of mind to look internally and seek acceptance and trust from her own self. This is because she grew up under the rejection of her own family. The main character was torn down by life, homeless and without anyone to rely on. Queen have so much to other but to her own self. As time went by she became jaded and distrustful - of everything and everyone. One can hardly expect a young women with that sort of life to have the mindset to look within to see that she is the stream she sought. She finally found a situation of a miracle that gave her renewed hope (for a little bit)…but she was without hope and those individuals proved her right. But When she did not have to worry about going hungry anymore, she would steal or pocket food from the very household that kept her fed. She snarled at any gesture of kindness. She trusted no one - not even herself. In the film, she lacked very little understanding of herself and her own heart. And as a result when a person feels removed and isolated from their physical environment, they do so emotionally as well. Eventually that little bit of life that kept her anchored broke. She went insane. Because she couldn’t have trust in a better tomorrow. She couldn’t find joy in the present. Queen never felt loved because of the memories of the past even as she moved further and further away from it. Your message again was uncannily timely. ❤

This needs to be required here in the USA. Anyone who wants to serve in the government has to do military service.
