So are they Cyborgs or Androids? Cyborgs would mean they were/are partially human. Androids are all robot. Also, why would they need to visit? Couldn't they just share the experience digitally with each other? Movies suck when you overthink everything.

The reason robots would look similar to humans would be in order to better accommodate our human need to feel more at ease with them. Once we are no longer in control (specially nearly extinct) there would be zero need to have dominant robots appearing like humans. This whole situation is highly illogical.

Ay Yo, he got played! He had a comfortable life, albeit lonely, and she filled his head and conned him into escaping. I’m sure he doesn’t know he’s gonna have to work multiple hours for little reward, he’ll have to find a place to live and I guarantee it won’t be as nice as what he left behind on the money he’s making. He’s gonna develop stress and irregular sleeping patterns and don’t even get me started on the dating scene! Dude gonna rue the day she walked into his room. 😂

why do cyborgs need to be depicted as different genders, heights, ages, ethnic appearance, etc.? Cyborgs care about that kind of stuff? It's more believable that cyborgs would all look the same in the future.

And in part 2 the guy learns that the chick has a chad boyfriend and no interest in mating with him. Then he finds out that trees are boring and he also has to get up early and work a minimum wage job so he can buy the food he used to get for free. On top of that he also has to pay rent and can't afford a heated apartment as big as what he had with the cyborgs. He tries to earn extra money by starting an Onlyfans but his fellow humans are not interested in pictures of him. In his desperation he goes back to the cyborgs but they have already replaced him with some other dude.

Another version of a human zoo..."Martian Chronicles" (2nd astronaut team) and "People are alike all over" were some of the progenitors. It is nice that they do hair and makeup to Hollywood perfection for their zoo animals.

I don't like stuff without world building, and with this it seems that the setting exists for the story, rather than the story being the outgrowth of a world with it's own history. For example, is "cyborg" the word they used? If they are cybernetic organisms, then why do they need to have humans on display? It makes no sense, unless they are keeping some of the original human specimens for control purposes. If they are Androids, or artificial life-forms, then how did they come into existence, and how is the world divided up between them and the humans? What is the nature of their relationship? Are they at war? They can't have replaced humans if there are still humans existing freely outside of their control, and if there are then what is their response when one of their citizens got kidnapped?
