You did a great job! I'm not sure how much the foam will actually help insulate but that's a great idea. I recently did the same in my van and I used a layer of Kilmat which is a similar product for sound dampening but much easier to install. Then I used a layer of Reflectix insulation. If you leave a 2 inch air gap and put another layer of that on the inside of your walls it works pretty decently to insulate and dissipate heat. There area a million ways to insulate and everyone claims to have the right way I know but these products work pretty well for me for sure. Looking forward to seeing the progress of your build friend.
