I paired this awesome antenna with a Workman JAWS clamp and by using a guard rail I have a 700 ft counterpoise
I got this antenna because it has the 3/8-24 stud thread on it and it pairs up with all my CB style antenna brackets
Works with my Chameleon and REZ Antenna mounts as well

What is the handset microphone that you are using?? I often have issues hearing on outings when people are standing around watching and talking.

It is a Harris H-250 Military handset modified for ham use. I have several PRC-25 and 77s that use it so I thought to molest it and see if I can make one up. I had to use a different mic cartridge but it was a real pig to wire up. There isW2ENY that mods these for Yaesu as well
