Inventing a completely new opening in the age of engines like Stockfish or Leela, which are able to calculate 20 moves ahead in seconds, in insane. You are a true inspiration to many. And I am not sure you fully understand that, since oftentimes your replies to pure compliments are "I am not, but thank you" or "I need to do much better" (e.g. when a viewer comments something like "Tal would be proud"). Just think of it this way: in the history of chess thousands of thousands Caro-Kann games have been played and not a single person treated the idea of Nxf7 seriously. Except you - who popularized and developed something we know nowadays under the name of "Alien Gambit". That is a part of the revolution that may happen to modern chess (which is thought to be more positional, sophisticated, and nuanced), moreover anyone who claims that romantic chess ended 200 years ago has just lost their argument because of you. This is not what average person is able to do. To end this essay (finally! sorry for its length): please, appreciate yourself. The thing about engines to remember - you don't play the engine, you play a human (or alien), that's why stuff like this or Smith-Morra are so good in practice even tho engine can defend in a perfect way.
Maybe at low elo, I'm 1200 and I'm pretty well prepped against Exchange (as I play it against caro), Tal, couple gambits (some unnamed ones too), Fantasy, 2 knights. Very well prepped against Advance or whatever e4 c6 d5 f4 is. Don't know much about Breyer, Panov but at this level nobody does really. Still both Alien Gambit and Martian are fun af to play for both sides!

I want to do some question about this Gambit. 1)If black plays 5...h6 the sacrifice is good or not? Because 6.Nxf7 6...Kxf7 7.Nf3 we try to transpose to the alien if black plays Nf6 but he plays Nd7 and how is this position? 2)If Black plays 8...Bf5 and after that h5 trying to play g6 without g4! and the bishop is trapped? After 8...Bf5 what we play? 3)If Black plays 8...Be4 or Bh7 what we play?

i got a question! what if bishop didnt move back to g6 after our knight g5? say like opponent push h6 directly, should we still sac the knight? (im thinking to sac the knight then pin the bishop with queen on f file) and another question! why do u name it ‘martian gambit’?! Any fun gambits against French in the future? Always looking to surprise people more than King's Indian Attack formation surprises them already (I've seen people play absolutely terrible moves against it, KIA is also very practical as French players don't know much about it usually)
We treat it like the Alien Gambit, sacrificing on f7 when h6 happens and playing against the weak light squares. With most common moves (mainly Nf6), it’ll transpose back into the Alien Gambit Bf5 lines
@@andrewwilson91235...h6 if 6.Nxf7 6...Kxf7 7.Nf3 7...Nd7 and white can resign, If you don't agree tell me the moves to play next. (Nd7 is a great move to stop Ne5+ and u cant transpose to the alien gambit)
Can you play vs my dad, he is playing all the time some crazy moves…he just improvise. I would love to see him loosing. I can’t get him into none of your gambits.
Ehh, if neither black or white want to have a fight it IS boring - but Fantasy is wild, Advance is big positional struggle, there are ways to make it fun, Tartakower is also cool. What about Petrov? Now this is boring and unless white takes risks it's gonna stay boring.
The advance is simple if you know how to apply pressure well. The petrov usually just leads to draws unless black plays something like the Stafford gambit
