I see there are a lot of comments asking what game needs to complete his set. He purposely didn't say because he figured we would get a ton of copies through fan mail if he did, which is appreciated, but unnecessary. Since the visit to KC he has gotten the last game, and it will be shown.
I know myself and others that use "NES Collector" on iOS, the same company also makes "SNES Collector" and alot of the other consoles. You are able to track your collection, how many you have, how much they are worth, and its able to export the list online if needed.
Just started watching the game chasers from the beginning again in 2 days am on this episode this is and has been the best thing on RU-vid since they started
AlllRIGHT. Oil up, and hit the gym with me. What'd wrong with these guys?? Oh great, another box of useless shit. Uncommon Gaaaame. Stupid Gamechasers. I'm a floating head ahhahhhhh. That's my playstation! That's a really gud game.
Legend of the Mystical Ninja on N64. I want that so bad. Growing up, I loved it more than Ocarina of Time. I still have the theme from summoning Impact stuck in my head.
Maybe the owner once heard about a couple of chodes who fought each other over a similar case they found in an old mall and figured his must be worth something.
Loved the great long episode!! Always happy to see a new Game Chasers since they aren't up too often. You guys still come across the best stuff, meanwhile I'm trying to find deals in NJ... 2-3 years still only overpriced resellers. :(
Those Lynx games were a total steal! I have never even seen a Atari Lynx handheld in person. That's a pretty good find right there. I'm suddenly finding shit where I'm at that's been eluding me for years. Turns out shit has been ending up in resellers hands. God damn resellin' bastards. lol
+Pulverized81 how is it dumb? It's like complaining about being cold and you have shorts on or no coat. Don't you wear cooler clothing when it's hot? I thought that was logic... of course I live in humidity hell and if you don't you won't understand at all
you offer $20 for the n64 with 16 games, should have least shown the guy a little respect and given him $30 i mean he even got them brought to his shop from his home especially for you! jay's such a cheap skate!
to them those games were trash, theyd prob end up throwing em away, i remember a number of years back getting a n64 with over 20 games for like $40 and feeling we overpaid(way before i started collecting games) to some people, they just need to get rid of junk, doesnt matter what value you hold it for, most of the time people that say what you say do so in jealousy which no one should have.
Because Billy wants full control over the show and netflix or some tv channels aren't going to let that happen. Not to mention they'd have to be a lot more professional. I prefer it the way it is.
you guys bring up no-brainer solid points, the industry is sick and twisted,They would probably start an agenda through these guys and try to end game hunting 4ever lmao. If the mainstream started collecting all the little sampsons, i would die of heartbreak.
All these youtubers can be thanked for the rising cost of retro games ...metal Jesus rocks and his hidden gems videos, James and mike Monday's ...all these guys add to the popularity and spike in price on certain titles ...they are not any systems left that are stupid cheap and the way it's going n64 will be next to go up the way Nes and snes did ...it is what it is ...I'm glad the hobby has been brought into limelight and is now considered cool
Yes! I always hear the "well it normally goes for ...." To which reply okay then go find me one in this condition and sell it to me. It's Jay this is the same guy who turned down a Sega CD case w/ system for $100 I think and wanted it cheaper. Yet never thought well sure I'll buy it and sell the system to get back what I didn't want to pay for.....THINK!!!
+simillarian well some things are no brainer ...like sega CDs are very uncommon to find ..I've seen like 3 total in my 7 years of going to flea markets etc...one in a case is like unheard of ...but to each his own ...I get angry when i see cheap skates turn down good deals ...like the Nintendo case was incredible ..$250 is An amazing deal for that ...shit I paid $500 for a Nintendo repair center cut out tin sign like 4 years ago ...some stuff is so hard to find you gotta dish out the money ...I've only seen 2 other signs on eBay and none were as good condition as mine ..that Nes case was like a one of a kind item ...
I feel like it's odd that I live in the KC area and have never been to super flea. I've been to the other Flea market and have never been able to find anything. Also, It would be wonderful to meet you Norm!
Can you imagine how bad your life has to be for you to go to a flea market in the dead of winter in 7 degree weather to buy expired groceries? If that's not a sign you fucked up hard, I dunno what is.
People buy those for animals. I do it all the time when I have nothing to feed the animals with. You make it sound like it's end of the world or some shit.
That Nintendo cabinet is likely from a Kmart. I have a full retail setup of 4 cabinets like that one with the Nintendo glass and One with PlayStation glass. Then the other two with just plain glass. I got the full set up for 200 bucks at a Kmart when it was closing.
Jay and Chris should just stop it with the courtship dance already, just admit to themselves and the World that they can't hide the deep sexual attraction they have for each other.
You guys took Melvor's second copy of Ocarina of Time because he wouldn't shut the fuck up about the first one getting stolen when he was only half-way through the game didn't you?
The box of sealed Atari 7800 games is probably worth around $700; Unlike a box of sealed Atari 2600 games would be $225. 7800 games are slightly more expensive sealed then 2600 games are sealed.
11:02 When Super Monkey Ball came up, I suddenly came to realize that I don't recall many times where you guys don't buy many post-1999 games on the show. Not sure why I decided to make a comment about that, I suppose it was noteworthy enough to... well... note.
Guy that sold the MYSTICAL NINJA has created Gaming Nerdvana(Nerd + Nirvana)...why would he sell anything is beyond me at all??I as a kid would have loved all the games he has and would never part with'em...party with'em...yes...part from'em...NOPE!
Great episode and Great editing as always. lol 20 bucks and a soda. Wow that controller is dirty. I like the color you guys used on the Ice and fire segments.
Can i get a japanese developed anime style game where you go game chasing, and for every find you get norm loses a piece of clothing? My channel needs more fanservice games to review and lets face it... norm is a beast.
destroy all humans ! i love original xbox, i have a decent collection. On my show i mostly play nes and snes genesis arcade atari , xbox360, hey, whatever ! B-) love your show ! \m/
Great episode! There were some excellent finds at the end there, particularly the Fairchild Channel F and the boxed Atari 7800! It's a shame that you didn't pick the 7800 up, but hey... there's always a next time. Also, that N64 with the games was a steal.
You guys drove all the way to Kansas City, and you didn't oil up and hit the gym with Norm? He looks so lonely at 18:32...all by himself, in an empty gym.
N64 3D crappy look.. Oh Billy you must play more N64. Even the first games on the consoles Mario 64... Wave Race (fucking great water / wave effect) and Shadow of the Empire (first stage is awesome).
