Also, on the topic of desync, it's only happened to me whenever I would play with my 2 friends. Most of the time, the raider gets stuck in place, and everyone waits for the error message to show up. The absolute worst experiences I've had were when I got stuck in an infinite loading screen and could hear the other survivors opening crates.
And the other one was actually kinda similar to what happened to you. On my screen, my friends were stuck in area C but were actually moving around. So, from my perspective, frieza was fighting his inner demons when the time machine went up. However, they were still visible for frieza because he was actually damaging them and even downed them.
Had a game similar to this recently where a Broly got stuck in his attack animation while battling another player and just couldn't do anything for the rest of the game because of it. What made it worse though was that our team suddenly couldn't collect items anymore and the timer wouldn't run down. So all we could do was spam emotes, stamps, and etc until the game crashed 10 minutes later because nobody wanted to take a chance getting a penalty over "remaining idle" or "leaving the match early."
Btw it doesn't matter how often Iron puts time into this Game- his experience versus the Masses Experience is Very Different so him saying "look how many hours I have on the game" kinda feels like everyones making this up. I've had games like this back to back sometimes so I'm baffled he didn't get one like this before.
@fallenangelplays1725 from my perspective everyone saying "this is a common issue" downplays the fact that it happened. And that it's not a big deal. That's how I interpreted it at the moment lol cuz I was pissed. I don't think it's truly THAT common from my POV, but that doesn't make it any less of an issue.

If it was a premade I wouldn't be surprised if they purposely did something to trigger this. My experience with premades is that they get pathetic when you get an unexpected kill on them (like Ironcane got by his lucky timed swap). Multiple times I've had a premade punish me by pulling out the lag switch and ghost-beating me up like Ironcane was at the STM, though granted I've never seen it to this extent (only for 1 battle to deplete most of my health while the non-fighting members revive the ones I killed and scatter, then things "suddenly" return to normal. And also, I still somewhat see the player(s) beating me up moving around and stuff, just teleporting and not in the proper positions).
The only counter to getting jumped by ghosts is to area destruction the area you see them stuck in. This will 100% unavoidably down the people you see inside. It happened to my friend where he was just jumping this poor lvl 2 buu until he had enough and eviscerated him. Unfortunately area destruction was used though so iron was cooked lmao.
I will say I can confirm that was a bug and not the players fault. I have been in lobbies with 5 of the 7 people and none of them have ever done that in any game I played with them.
This has happen to me about 3 times since I started in season 4. The first 2 times, my friend was running in place and was even outside the map when an area was destroyed and on their screen, everyone and the raider was running and flying in place. The 3rd time was a random survivor, I didn't see who it was, but I saw the raider getting attacked by nothing.
Had this kind of games a couple of time, as raider and survivor. As Raider, I just open crates and wait, until the time is out. As survivor I just traverse across the map, until the time runs out, or the disconnect occurs. But the last part, being destroyed by invisible and untracable Opponents, never happened to me.🤷😂
What happened to that first survivor you killed is my main problem with baby. You sit in queue forever and then just immediately get downed a minute it with no counter play. You dont even get to fight or do anything fun its so badly designed.
Oh man, season 6's surprise passive skill: literal fucking invisibility lol. In all seriousness I've only ever had one match like this but i was a survivor on this same map even. It was weird seeing baby in area b but meanwhile there's people in C getting downed and attacked by nothing lol. What's with this game?😅
Truly unfortunate what happened. I played against a cell where this happened. Thought he was cheating. Stuff like getting teleported into area destructions and jaco ship being destroyed on activation were happening. I've experienced de-sync before but this is something completely new.
Oh hey, I discovered a way to trigger the desync so as a raider, all of the survivors in my lobby would literally be standing still (but invincible) you can find more about it on my place but I'm not sharing how to trigger it
I don't think they cheated. The game just glitched. This happened to me before too. But idk cuz the fact that it said "no medal information" was kinda sus.
LMAOO I like how concerned you were about the "desynced players that were stuck" but in reality they were just playing normally while you were desynced for them
I had the same shit too. I played as Goku Black and it was all good until the STM came and 2 players where invinsible and invicible. It really ruins the fun in the Game.
With malice I say f*** any premade or high level solo players who abuse phantom desync. Never experienced it to this degree, but you can just feel the players definitely knew what was happening.
Bro respectfully it don’t matter how much hours you have on it I have a combined 1500+ hours from my switch and ps5 and this bs has happened a few times and I’ve been in matches where it happened back to back 😭 you are just FORTUNATE to not have it happen multiple times to you tbh. Idk if I’d say it’s common but it has happened quite a lot and I have fantastic internet connection
I mean, one time this season super buu didn’t finish me off before we freed buu and it gave me the power of no-clip for some reason i was able to just freely etm out after they destroyed STM since buu started hunting in the area opposite of mine, so i was able to keep the use of it to a minimum before i escaped. NOTE: i was solo-queuing and this was a low-level lobby for both survivors and raider, so i think buu never used his lvl 4 all-map attack since i don’t even think they knew they had it

The fact the rank in this game sucks, the anger is understandable. Just something that needs to be fixed if this game wants to survive. I’ve had quite a few matches as survivor where we desync. Worst part for us has been where we got stuck in place when interacting with anything. Open a chest, pick up cubes, anything will get you stuck and you don’t get the thing. While every thing else is real time. This game is too broken for rank to be a thing. Especially since it is so punishing if you lose. Where we lose mainly because of how poor the game is.
Never seen this rype of desync before Had some desycn and made us survivors invincible while Raider was frozen in place, couldn't be damaged by stuff like Saiyan pod and some guy had an infinite death timer
This happened to me as well in the past. I got stucked in a game. But in my case the raider was completely frozen and the timer was stop so all the survivors were basically stuck in a never ending match without being able to do anything besides running and emoting. I don't think it was intentional but it definitely was an issue P.S : Had to DC to leave the match, luckily it wasn't a ranked match but imagine if it was ranked raider 🙃
They didn't its a desyncing bug that baby usually has and triggers randomly for some reason. A friend of mines have experienced the same type of bug while as baby and while against baby. Has something to do with his kill animation around level1 and or 2
I've had plenty of desync games but not like this, this is actually crazy lmao. Send this to bandai support and ask for TP tokens, see if they do it lol
Of all of my time playing, I've seen it 4 times, that makes it 5. I don't think these players could see what was happening or even knew what was going on, man does it suck when you can do nothing about it.
I can't play the game because every time i get a full lobby, it disconnects me back into the title. And it is't just a 3 time-4 time thing, no, my FCKING GAME HAS BEEN LIKE THIS FOR OVER A WEEK!
