After waiting 8 years I was so gutted when the game launched and we had to play with the spin assist on but fair play to Mash for addressing all the major concerns so quickly after launch!
the man who made this game is 10x better than any AAA company out there. he didnt sit and pop his champagne while we tried to learn a new playstyle, he started working more and put out so many updates. i swear the game gets updated everytime i play
See what happens when you give the dev time to fix luanch bugs and updates. comments, yall we're being to harsh and reactive on launch day i understand good feedback, but most of what i saw wasn't good feedback
I bought the game at midnight when he dropped it and I played like 2 hours of it and honestly was disappointed cuz I sucked at it but I have over 30 hours and I’m loving it more and more
i’ve been loving the updates! the more options the better imo. there’s so many different things you can do in this game it kinda makes sense too, changing your settings depending on how you’re gonna ride is such a nice feature. imo you can never have too many options
@@pablo-dc4ez yes i read it, did you even read his reply? He quite obviously went back and pressed Edit and added him. Are you restarted or something bub?
Would be cool if the dev added some sort of weather pattern or surface friction setting. Riding the maps in a rainy environment such as the The Pier, would not only be dope looking, but if it affected how difficult how landing a trick is, that would also be an interesting element. Obviously riding vert or pipes in a rainy environment isn’t ideal and would be tricky, but for the more street based maps that would be sick. Hitting a decent hill bomb while fakie tire dragging, and combining into a rail or gap would be sick.
Iv been here scense the day you started hitting nasty lines on PIPE training course, iv always wanted to enjoy the game fully, but I just level my mind out and get some snacks and watch you flow, and just be so clean, it's a vibe fo show 💯
Yes dude! That intro was sick. As a long time rider I love the realistic style of riding. It's cool that people can do crazy triple backflip transfers and whatnot. Some real video game stuff for those that enjoy it. But like the Skate games. I much prefer the realistic or at least semi realistic riding with good editing and filming. Keep it up! Absolutely loving this game. Bit of a rocky launch, but this is the game BMX riders deserve. Having a blast playing it on my steam deck. Basically all I've played since launch lol.
Are you planning on doing any tutorials? Some grind basics would be a great start, you make it look flawless. I'm sure a lot of us would appreciate it too!
Played modded pipe for years but bmx streets is on the whole new level! Fully obsessed! I wanna see you do a vid on the skate3 map and do some bits in the backyard double bowl with the slide
hey Potato thanks for all your videos. Can you do something about coping slides in the transition, we're really struggling with it. Ride on, greetings from switzerland!
idk how you are doing the camera stuff cause i havent played yet but if thats a feature in the game that is so cool cant wait for the pending money on steam to cash out cant wait to play
can you please make a video on the rocket man challenge? i haven't been able to figure out how to clear the rail in over 150 tries. the closest i've gotten to clearing it involved physics jank that made it impossible to land.
I had trouble with this as well, but figured out you need to hold the grind input like a manual instead of just holding the stick all the way to a certain direction, you need to balance it. Like for Ice and Toothpicks is the same as doing nose and manuals but on a rail.
If anyone wants to get to the MegaPark before u are lvl. 200 I just found a way. Just grab the Drifttrike and sit in it next to the stadium. Then just repeat pressing A on spawning a Drifttrike and it will vault u in the air. U have to go realy high but at some point u will see the park floating in the sky. (Sorry for my bad grammar. English isn't my first language)😂
Hey man great video glad the games getting better, the last update it reset all my stars and challenges I had done but my parts didn’t. Any guess on why it would’ve happened?
i just want all the missing tricks back (x-up & x-rides mostly for crazy grind and manny combos), and I'll be good with everything. Very happy with the updates since launch
I remember watching potato 5 years ago when this game was in early development. I’m very pleasantly surprised how far they have come even tho there’s more progress to be made. It’s better than Easy Day Studios with Skater XL, a lot of games like this just let modders do all the work and spend money on nothing except adervtising
For real, being locked to specific looking pros was veryyy disappointing for me. Especially since the first is a woman and i typically play as a dude. Not deal breaking but pretty disappointing to me
I wish we could have the challenges a little easier if we want some are brutal i really want to unlock that skate park but 100⭐️not sure ill ever see it lol
i have high hopes for this game but currently, at least to me its not worth the price tag, i love what they are doing, but IMO spending hundreds of hours on pipe, pipe is just smoother to me and being able to 540 on flat with the quick spins and all the modded maps. ill give it a couple months before i get it for stuff to get ironed out but glad people are having a ton of fun with it!
Auto rotation isn’t what we needed and it’s not what’s messing people up. It’s rotation friction. The speed at which you start and stop feels like an old Matt Hoffman game from ps2. I can legit 360 one way, stop mid and spin 360 the other way. And if you take you thumb off before finishing that turn I’d assume you to spin how you would irl and have actual momentum carry your body the rest of the way. Well you just stop on a dime mid air. I think everyone had a standard with session and skater xl or most games that have physics. Now all we have is another mechanic hindering us. I think if he’s just slow down people would be able to manage their spinning and would have to come up with any new possibly game breaking mechanics. Just momentum
Yeah I've talked to him about spinning and lots of people have mentioned it in the BMX Streets discord and it is something he will adjust for us! But he can only do so much at the moment but it will get addressed sooner or later!
@@chrisradca3245 I'll keep practicing but I try to only pull 25 - 50% on the stick. I only land in a rear manual like 1/10 times. Nose manual I can 100%
