I used to play this in my 2007 Silverado with my friend Big Ben. Nothing compares to how I felt driving around listening to this in the Bose sound system. My friend Big Ben died in 2019, we used to make music together. I sell cars and last week someone came in and traded my old truck. Just bought it back. Gotta buy this CD again so I can get the feeling again. R.I.P. Big Ben!
lax is a classic. game didn't like this album looking back now, but this album really kept his name in the rap game. documentary put him on the map, doctor's advocate said he could live on past g-unit, but this one said he isn't going anywhere.
Brings back memories when i used to listen to rap like this.... I grew up and got on that underground shit. But classics like this i will NEVER forget...
Yeah, you're only cool if you listen music that never charted, by artists that no one's ever heard of, and also will never chart. Yeah thats the best music.
I love the hook. I love Game and he is a underrated lyricist. "we got mountains and oceans we move in slow motion off that sticky you all love to blow." Nice.
2023 gives me cheels each times damn I love this song!!! Brings feelings and memories 👌 game verse hits hard +the hook is fire 💣 this is hip-hop right there !!!
I may never go to Compton but Game painted it clearly for me. I know a lot more about Cali from him than i could have ever learned from a book or class
We still here. I was a 17 years old white kid from the UK bumping this on my mp3 player, waiting for the train. I bought a couple albums man but you been entertainin me for nearly 2 decades. All roads lead to the game
Jeeeezus, I honestly 100% forgot about this track ENTIRELY. The Game was on absolute fire during this stretch. I gotta admit, he is madly underrated from this point of his career. These early albums of his are incredible. And this is one of his heaviest tracks, IMO. Sooooo good
The Game will always and forever remain my favorite rapper of all time from being from Cali he tells tha everyday struggle to survive.....This Shit Is Real......
My dad was always playing that exact song in his Mitsubishi galant and always have the windows down. I’m getting goosebumps when I hear this song. I love it
When I first heard the beat for this, I was gonna change it, and then the chorus hit and my ears opened up. Turned out this is the best song I've heard from Game for its own reasons.
Just realised this instrument was a sample of Beverly craven "promise me" instrument God Bless cool and Dre and game for this legendary track 💯🙏🏽🔥 God bless you Beverly craven that song was truly beautiful 💯🔥
goddamn this is fuckin fire.... i miss g-unit when they were all united against ja rule and murder inc.... some of the best gangsta rap of all time, most of it..... obie trice... buck and banks.... em and dre..... everything shady/aftermath released was platinum plus yo even fuckin yayo did serious numbers its a shame that game and fifty couldn't make it work. even tho g-unot was insane...
"im bout my hood, im bout my block, im bout my chips, so if the rap money stops and im punching clocks, catch you slippin at a light GET OUT YO SHIT". Game is a living LEGEND. Nobody is on his level, or speaks anywhere near it.
Listened to this every day on the way to high school when it came out. Shout out to the homie Tyler Mello for showing me this album on the way to school.
