How the heck did you do the cleric only achievement? I literally see max 2 per run and inevitably die cuz I have no units

@@camerongct restart until you get a cleric first pick and at least one first shop. Focus getting flat damage items, don’t use new clerics to level until you have four, make your front cleric tanky as hell, then go hard on picking as many [?] spots as possible, they give you the massive number of tokens you need to level up. Do it on the first stage, easiest by far to complete it

@@camerongct I did zone 1 since it’s the easiest. As stated above - Reset until Cleric start. Prep your route and look for 0-1 Elites and 2+ ‘?’. Everytime you have an event check achievements to see if you can get a legendary item(Spoiler) For Cleric off the top of my head you can get the bandage for shouting ‘look out’ during the acorn and for ‘sneaking the lure’ to the bard. Both these items are really good. (End Spoiler) With King + Cleric you can take down the first 3 levels super easy(don’t be afraid to let the king get in those melee hits every wave you heal 10 HP with no equipment). During this time only buy additional healers in the other slots. Round 4 is usually Elite, if so dump the bank shooting for a tier 3 cleric and three tier 1s. If it’s an event you’re either getting 4 tokens or a legendary. Only dump the bank on elites or before the boss. Items to shoot for are the +2 flat damage, 75% cool down, and any synergistic legendaries. I fought the boss with a Tier 3, a Tier 2, and two Tier 1s without any flat damage buffs, it was honestly shitty. Just a lot of kiting and if you have enough cool down they can just face tank the dogs while you walk out of the other AOEs.

Took me so many attempts, he is way harder than the others. If you’re having trouble still I suggest 2 healers + 2 imps, put the 3 stacks of hot hands on your best imp and you can usually win a DPS check unless your king takes multiple tentacles or the hot hands imp dies.

@@nikkof5384 i beat with double archer knight and barbarian, frenzy combo + rush means you can run fast enough to get the air and still dodge tentacles. Combo also makes your archers do INSANE dps.

I'm pretty sure it can heal itself but just seems to always prioritise other units first

there's a cooldown of 120 seconds for the pocket cleric tho

Yeah i've been running into that boss like a wall. Even if you have tons of damage, the oxygen mechanic combined with the fact the corners are always full of tentacles means you are just gonna die at some point to oxygen lack or getting one of your squishy units killed by tentacle swings

I haven't played it myself but the oxygens seems to go down too fast and sometimes no bubbles spawn

And facetanked those tentacles

Also the Sharkomancer is melee and NL never put it into melee range, so a bunch of DPS was left on the table. Maybe he didn't have enough DPS still, but might've been able to blitz the boss down. All those enemy tentacles seemed to be far away from the boss.

@@Patchumz you run out of air so you have to go to the corners along with the Eye Ray attack does decent damage I don’t know I haven’t beaten this boss yet the other 2 I beat like NL back to back

@@thomasgulde5372 Sure, he has to keep track of the bubble, but it lasts a decent amount of time. He just wasted a lot of bubble time not attacking.

Listen hear me out, only the sharkmancer have some decent to good utility the deep cultist ult is dead ass not working, the damage output is non existent and even when she has so much haste that she can fire it every 3.8 seconds the position of the eyes, the shot speed and damage is so low that it is lower than a level one archer damage output And the tentacles are fine aoe damage but even if she has high haste they're stuck in place for a long time before they decay and she can summon other ones. I really like this game but as many pointed out both of the gimmicky cold and water level mana have one mid to high good one and the other one very low (viking is just a worse berserk/knight, the frost witch has very good dps when you load her with haste). All in all, this game has extreme potential but need some light tweaking to balance the characters

Sharkmancer is a really solid drain tank, but yeah the cultist is kinda ass. Pretty sure its ult is bugged since it does next to no damage

Well, they are both melee characters. NL thoght they were ranged. Sharkmancer lifesteals, bleeds and summons shark on third hit. But sharkmancer never got in melee range. The tentacles of the tough deep unit attack when the unit attacks. So it has to do some melee to function. Basically NL barely used the 2 deep units.

I legit watched a vid from some random youtuber last night on this, and then encountered the fact you apparently played it. yet ik more about the game I can't even play, and you're getting trolled by chat lmao.

this games legit worth like $2 at most and you're not even using 2% of your brain playing it.
