This is my favorite era of basketball. I didn’t even grow up watching this, I’m 14 and started watching about a year and a half ago. I just love the mix of offense and defense and actual position basketball with a touch of “positionless” basketball.

This is the first time I 've seen someone of your age not defending today's bland, weakass NBA. I salute you, truly , that you've managed not to let yourself be brainwashed by today's "splash" of social media and the hoopla of contastant 3-point -no-defence- shots masquarading as real game.
@jay_red
@jay_red 2 года назад
@@Euzebinio I appreciate the salute brother. I’m 15 now and while I understand the need for spacing and how important offense is in today’s league, I just don’t get how unmotivated people can be to really get an inside shot or play some tough defense. And I wish having a center that actually plays inside wasn’t such a crime to these teams. Inside players in general can work, look at Rob Williams, DeAndre Ayton, Giannis, Embiid, ik Jokic shoots a bit but he mostly scores inside, Jarrett Allen, you can make inside players work you just have to use them right like any other player.

2007 series vs Detroit? 2012 east finals game 6 and 7? 2012 finals avg 30 ppg? 2013 finals game 7? 2016 finals game 5 6 7, dropping 41 back to back, triple double in game 7 with the clutch block? 2018 series vs indiana game winner? 2018 east semis vs Toronto game winner? 2018 finals game 1 51 points? meanwhile Kobe has the most missed shots in nba history and never avg more than 47%. Lebrun never avg under 47% what about Kobes pout game 7 vs phoenix...yeah real killer instinct when you quit on your team and refuse to shoot...with his 2 final mvp/1 map having ass
@fjo9492

mike gritzbach he has it but LeBron is always being scrutinized. What are u suppose to do when your getting dominated/outplayed against another team in every aspect. Where was Kobe’s killer instinct when he was getting sweeped by the Mavericks and getting destroyed by a young OKC.

Gil was really one of the first downhill PGs. He was constantly in attack mode. It was pretty much him and Iverson up until the 2010s. No other guards attacked like that from the top of the key

Lebron literally steamrolled past 4 wizards defenders for a layup. I don’t think MJ would be able to do that. Not a bronsexual btw I still think MJ is the 🐐

That Wizards defense was horrible with Eddie Jordan as coach just like it is now with Scott Brooks as the Wizards coach. Thanks to Eddie Grunfeld.

Jared Jefferies was like 6'10...looked 6'4 trying to guard LeBron...Gil was crazy talented and fun to watch...good reminder of LBJ's beginning...a whole like of 'not killer' and 'not clutch' here...nope! He was just a different type of closer and had to grow into the pressure points...these were great series.

When Harden emerged as one of league's best scorers in 2012, his playing style reminded me of Gilbert. But now harden has evolved his game to a different level.

keryexcept that gilbert relied on explosiveness, athleticism, while harden is/was just smart in how he uses leverage and trickery. never seen anyone be able to draw fouls like that guy did. and he shot that stepback three like nobody else but maybe curry.
