Gronk and Hernandez were supposed to become a legendary duo. People forget how fast and talented Hernandez was. That duo would've made the Patriots even more unstoppable.
It’s heartbreaking to watch what Gronk used to be able to do. His body has taken a ridiculous beating. Defenses can’t tackle him, so they go for cheap shots.
No head shots allowed. Ya can't drag him down the only way to get him down is leg shots. Cheap leg shots. And it's always little guys in the open field.
How do they go for cheap shots? Defenders can only tackle him one way and those are leg tackles. They have to tackle him down low. To me tackling someone the only way they can be brought down isn’t cheap shotting. But yes he has taken a great deal of contact.
We just saw what was perhaps the last game for Gronk, and to look back at one of his firsts... it been an incredible amazing career if it is indeed over.
Big Bird13 career cut down by injuries. Statistics may not be in his favor but he’s a top three tight end with what he’s done over his career when he’s been on the field.
Tom used to just roll the Steelers. It's like whatever made their defense good was the kind of stuff that didn't affect Tom at all. I'm sure Pittsburgh was thrilled to see Tom leave the AFC.
Man that first touchdown to Gronk made me realize how strong Brady’s arm was at one point. He zipped the fuck out of that thing in there. I REALLY HOPE HE GROWS OUT HIS HAIR BEFORE HE RETIRES. That would be an OG ass move. People really need to appreciate greatness before it’s gone.
I mean the patriots beat the Steelers due to a flawed rule. If the rule was updated like it was now then the patriots would’ve lost... also Big Ben did better than Brady during that game.
I’m 30 and I agree with u . Now it’s all mixed with pop culture crap. The good ole days are long gone . Now even while the game is on in between plays they show an ad. But in the future u will Be able to go back on your tv and break down plays on your tv like the analyst do on tv . Replays ,different fields of view , even being able to move players individually
Brady was the Steeler killer their fans knew what was coming when the Pats came to town. A old fashion ass kicking. Miss him and Gronk Win another this year Tom!
"too bad Aaron Hernandez screwed up" Damn man, if convicted of murdering his good friend and suspected of 2 more is just "screwing up", I'd hate to witness your definition of "full-on nut job psychopath"
Anybody else catch the moment that Brady showed Gronk respect at 4:50 ? It's pretty cool when you realize that they've been at it since 2010 and really makes you appreciate that it's still happening in Tampa.
The first time I saw Drew Bledsoe he was stinking up the field for the Cowboys, I looked into him & saw he'd had the GOAT his backup in New England. He was unlucky at the Pats, but the Dallas one was all him, total dogshit! & benched for Romo.
I am truly going to miss watching Gronk. He had a personality like no other on the field, and was a true team player. You could count on him catching nearly everything thrown his way, and he blocking skills were unmatched by any other TE. I wish him well.
Highlight Heaven, I love your videos. Keep up the good work man. You already got 300k subscribers and that's just amazing. Soon 1 million will come. Keep it up good man!
Nice factoid, Brady at 5:26 hand-shake with Byron Leftwich with whom he reunited, this time on the same team, in Tampa in 2020 and the Bucs Super Bowl run. BL being the Buc's OC... :-)
Bro that’s insane at 5:27 he meet up with brain leftwich #4 and he is now the bucs offensive coordinator and toms the qb and they won the Super Bowl together with Gronk too
HAAAA!!! When I saw that Steeler push down Brady I laughed my ass off. I'm a huge Brady fan but that just proves how much he infuriates defenses. And also because the guy had the audacity to claim he didn't rough the passer. Hilarious!
I am a Niners fan, and I grew up loving Young & Montana, but even I have to admit that Brady has been a class act who now outshines them both. Just a great leader. Ugly mullet though 😂
JoshDS123 _ he had long hair in 2004 also but he cut it after the AFC Championship and won the SB with short hair. But I definitely remember this Gronk game reminding me a lot of Brady slicing and dicing the Steelers in the 04 AFC title game in this same stadium the last time he had long hair
I recall an incident in Foxbourgh when the Steelers headsets stopped working. Dan Patrick show played what the Steelers were trying to get on the field. Someone cover Gronkowski.
Gronk is from Buffalo but played high school football in Pittsburgh. I think he loved upping his game when they played at Heinz Field. Seemed to have. Every time i saw him play at Pittsburgh he had great stats.
