not knowing how the electricity tunnel anomaly works is a classic first time experience.

If I remember correctly there’s a hidden stash with mercenary armor on one of the roof which you need to do some parkour in the rookie village.

You can sell stuff to Sid, there is a Trade button at the bottom of the screen. You can also sell stuff to other Stalkers but they have very limited money. It also pays to search around buildings and areas as there are random stashes to be found that aren't marked on your PDA. Just searching the Rookie Village you can find some good loot to start you off.

I think removing some of the jank with mods changes the overall experience quite a bit - those guns are way more effective than I ever remember from vanilla STALKER. But if you're here for the story then by all means go for it! =)

My dude missed the biggest TRADE bnutton ever, and the next level thing is just the map transitions, in case you dont wanna move to next map, you can cancel it and spare yourself the loading time, cus i remember when loading the levels took like 30s and you dont want to go to garbage and be like i didn't wanna go there, then spend the another 30s going back to cordon.

I'm playing Stalker SoC first time as well, I just installed ZRP and nothing else, my guns have crazy recoil, yours look much better.
