Russia has the world’s tallest lineup. I’m not sure if the lineup in the video is the tallest, but sometimes even other teams, like the USA, is noticeably a bit shorter than the Russian team.
Volleyball, both indoors and on the beach is the most exciting spectator sport to watch and is not subject to corruption and subjectivity of referees unlike, football, basketball, soccer, baseball. Volleyball should be way way way more popular than it is.
There was a guy in my hometown. Excellent athlete, the power in his spikes and the explosiveness and speed in his jumps. Wasn't tall but had power and explosive..best springs I've ever seen. Only spike to blow my arms back and leave them stinging on a block, you felt that power.. Common to bounce spikes back up to gym rafters. Vehicle accident left him paralyzed from the waist down
This video is amazing! Dima is a Russian giant and Olympic Champion, and Yuji is a Japanese up and coming super star! I hope Yuji will win a medal in Tokyo Olympics!
The system of the Olympics is too tough for Japan, 2 pools with 6 teams each?! Oh boy...... I don't think they will make the quarter finals. The vnl has an easier system yet Japan couldn't advance. And of course all the teams will bring their stars unlike in the 2019 world cup.
@@abhmd4481 I know what you are saying. But if the Japanese team stars like Ishikawa, Nishida and Sekita play their best, they might advance into quarter and semi finals. They will play at home - Tokyo, which helps. Of course, Brazil, Russia, Poland, and France will bring likes Bruno, Muserskii, Mikhailov, Kurek and Ngapeth! Therefore, the chances look slim. But you never know hoe other teams will play in Tokyo!
@@phajeb001 Yes, man! Many people around the world suddenly like the Japanese national team because of the popularity of Nishida Yuji around the world! You know what, it is very sad or unfortunate that the marketing and promotion officers from both International volleyball Association and Japanese volleyball association do not capitalize on Nishida's popularity and promotion power. They do not take advantages of making $ millions from Yuji's popularity! Sad!
