Game Freak, the primary studio behind the Pokémon franchise, has been hit by a major data breach. Multiple upcoming Pokemon games have leaked, along with an extensive cache of internal Pokémon documents, including source code from past game releases. There is also a QUESTIONABLE Pokemon backstory written by Game Freak involving Typhlosion.

Yo Wood if you read this, really enjoying this new channel of yours. Love that you brought back the old Hair Flip (but where's the Best Friends part?). I got an idea for a future React video. With the Switch in its twilight phase & the next Nintendo Console seemingly set to arrive sometime next year, how about taking a stroll down memory lane with you doing a full reaction video to your iconic Switch Launch Day Video when you went to that Canadian mall to pick up your very first Switch Console at EB Games. I remember you saying stuff in that Switch Launch vid like how you suck at doing reviews & how you couldn't afford a Pro Controller and now fast forward to today and you put out amazing reviews & have a big collection of Switch accessories. It'd be very cool to see you revisit that entire video & event, especially with the Switch nearing the end of its cycle & Nintendo set to announce their new console any day now✌️

My read on the crazy Pokemon fan fic is that it’s likely just “no bad ideas in a brainstorm” kind of stuff. Like zero chance that stuff would have ever seen the light of day absent this leak. Probably just used to get a conversation started.

Reminds me of one of the stories actually in the game about the boy who went around killing pokemon for fun. And the one that talked about humans abd pokemon being very similar in the past and how people and pokemon would marry. Which was also in the game. Honestly the only thing shocking about it is how explicit/dark they are.

As a regular moist watcher I instantly got the reference Also, the crude fanfic style stuff from devs I feel is probably more common than we know. I remember when a SpongeBob games files were datamined(or leaked unsure of how they got out anymore) and there was art the devs made of different SpongeBob characters engaged in sexual acts

The Galbi is a gyaru, or "gal" in Japan. Its a fashion style, and the Galbi is tanned with eye makeup lol, classic gyaru. Thats also why the comment said saying "gal" was too much, it has sexual overtones

Wood I would love to see you review new games! For example probably my most anticipated game of the year is Sonic x Shadow Generations. There's even a prologue animation Sega released that actually made me cry. The Shadow campaign (a mix between adventure gameplay and boost gameplay in ways) is a completely new game basically bundled with a remastered Sonic generations (Has classic gameplay for act one and modern boost gameplay for act 2) with a rewritten story because the two stories connect. This game basically acts as an entry point to the series because it shows players lots of cool locations from the past as well as quite intricate levels. The doom powers also create even more paths so you can get a better time in your runs. This one game shows how much Sega has learnt from the past and I'm so excited for future sonic games! Finally my two boys Mario and Sonic can stand tall together!!!! Also if you do play I suggest having a box of tissues on standby ._. Hope you get better Wood bye!!!!

So those stories were actually based on Japanese folklore. However I think once writing it I believe they figured out how weird the stories were and never released them.

I'd love for someone smarter than myself to look at the build info for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and figure out WHY they either weren't able to fix their broken game after release or why they decided that it just wasn't worth fixing. That really got to me. Like I still think about it ALL the time! HOW does a AAA game dev with such a massive budget not fix a main title game in their series!? I must know!!!

Also wood, I got a suggestion, in addition to the monthly games news thingie, maybe at the end of each month you can talk about your impressions on them after you played them. Or you can just bunch them together and then make a video later about them, so there isn’t pressure for you to have to play a game before the end of the month. Oh yea they are definitely gonna game boy the switch and keep the switch around for a while. They are learning from Sony and how many just kept their ps4’s and didn’t upgrade. Also Nintendo has always kept their handheld consoles around much longer then needed so it makes sense.

I have mixed feelings about the giga leak, but most of this feels like some kind of weird cyber bullying, and I mean what if GameFreak just say "screw you guys, we WERE working our butts off, now you can go buy some half-assed unfinished game we don't care about anymore. It would be really bad business if they did that, especially since we can assume the at least part of the reason we didn't get a pokemon game this year was because of how unpolished Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were/are. Pokemon is the biggest media franchise in the world, they know that fans are constantly clamoring for any information, they know they need to be hyper vigilant about leaks but that you can't plug every single hole. It's the price of doing business.
