Botters have ruined the sneaker game and I just gave up collecting more. Also I think Nike gives better odds to influencers on hitting on the SNKRS app which isn’t fair at all.

I’ve completely stopped collecting sneakers. I’m just not about the games anymore. As a collector if there’s zero chance of me getting the shoes due to stacked odds from bots I don’t care anymore. The nail in the coffin was when Nike said they would give out EA to Kobe fans for the 6 protros “based on purchase history”. I’ve spent 10s of thousands of dollars on Kobe product over the years and I didn’t get selected for anything. I’m just done with it.

I'm a big fan of star wars guitars and sneakers and other odd things no one cares about. I bet due to market and if you looked... you probably could get some of the decent star wars adidas in the Kenner style package for a decent price if you hunted due to hype beast being all nike and yeezy everything. And some of the apparel for it was dope. The concepts air max one was/is a great shoe for music enthusiasts and is at a great price. Personally I buy what I like and have been finding great kswiss, saucony, diadora and other brands that people aren't hyping up. Even great and affordable guitars from my era are Hella high priced. I would love a Fender TC-90 in cream black pick guard for 600-700 again!!! Or another guild when they were still built in Rhode Island.

@@kevincollins8620 funny enough I also collect guitars and Star Wars. Guitar is a lovely community where people just play what they like with little to no judgement. And I love collecting Star Wars Black Series though the price hikes have slowed me down recently. Both are a lot more fun than sneakers and it’s not close.

My point is not many people are familiar with the entire adidas star wars collection. They even did a limited low key drop at Disney. The 2011 shoes are the low-key ones before boost took over

I work for Nike Financial here in Southern California. They’re currently trying to roll out shock drops and releases for a Thursday, friday release. That’s what I had a meet about last Wednesday.
