Why does Narayah look so different now? Maybe the face tats were henna? Tree ran with his fears and projected distrust. His fall back about his life being in danger was pathological. Spreading negative rumors about her being a plant and bad vibes was super manipulative. And the group let him get away with it. That was dysfunctional group dynamics.

Tree seems to be suspicious of anyone who engages more attention or positive energy than himself or Julia. The Garden is exactly - 100% - a microcosm of Western Cultural stereotypes. Just with less bathing.

Her story is for every newcomer, misfit, about to snap, duct taped mouth SOUL in the world. I really don’t get people. Take off your goggles of fear and check your displaced anger! I think you 2 need your own podcast… but maybe some taking note… because you go off topic when the lightbulb goes off I personally feel like… you need personally secretary to write when you talk. But maybe on something labeled something more inclusive…that feels like instantly excludes people looking for quiet places to practice their spirituality, recovery, mental health issues. Your right. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂🤪 Just kick everyone out that doesn’t look, act, smell, fill in blank! Because they don’t think the exact same way as you? It’s not what you think they should look like? IS THAT THE ISSUE? What in YOU do you think finds this so upsetting… emotionally, spiritually, physically, sexually… then probably not your person. Based off your personal past, present and all that entails… the good… the bad… the ugly… the beautiful. You have to decide YOUR OWN STORY ONLY. So relax… breathe… it’s easier… let someone else fill in where your skills lack= intentional community. There’s thousands of LIFE LESSONS!!! And @mypersonalangelhere 🥰 I was in crisis state… Verge of mental health break. No one was listening except my soon to be husband who I personally relate to Patrick. My AA community was also tainted I believe by a group of old timers to AA I “FEEL” gang stalked me. It’s an awful experience. 3 sides to EVERY story. We don’t have a perfect justice style or system anywhere. We are all stumbling through life trying to do the best we can. When we are in alignment with our higher self you “usually” stop stumbling… but that system fails if ANYONE inside YOUR PERSONAL INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY is being dishonest to POINT harming others or themselves. No ones perfect or should be judged by their worst action? You die tomorrow… how clean is your slate?! A few days ago mine was disgusting! So heavy! And this happened! I looked first through eyes of complete desperation! That’s how you got my attention! And I already know we speak the same language Narayan and right now… a lot of people will validate you… is my hope. And ONLY TRUTH AND JOY! For ALL who embrace is my hope! But trust us 😂🥰🤪 it’s not guaranteed. Get your individual intentional community, your families, jobs… things seem to just flow. Life stops pushing back so hard it “seems”. I’m a newcomer to social media. Be gentle with your responses. It’s all a vote on that person… you’re voting them up or down. Our way of life stayer is broken. You can’t relate to this… too hippie… watch the secret, got to AA meeting, church, wherever you feel your light source… right now. Now follow that! It seems so hard. Trust yourself and your team. Good luck! P.S.- STOP looking for the differences and ugly in everything and try to look from a pure… childlike. LOOK for the similarities. REALLY give each new day and person a FRESH SLATE! Do your best that moment, that day, EVERYday! No certain recovery trail looks the same… just like no mental health medication is same. It’s trial and error until you find the light. Once you FEEL the light in your soul… your committee of support is complete! Everyone else can go. This can grow… this can shrink.. but constant turmoil is a red flag… there may be a serious problem in your support system. Fix it.. you try not to waste. Food, gifts, skills, yourself… if system is failing what needs to be replaced to fix if cannot be fixed internally FIRST.

How I will forever remember Vibe's vibe: screaming and raging at Narayah "for the love of all humanity." YIKES. Seeing that and no one opposing of that, told me everything I needed to know by episode 2. I really liked Narayah and could relate to her as a truth teller who has also been the Scape Goat in intentional "community" settings. Experiencing Gangstalking requires a lot of strength and resiliance. I admire Narayah's strength and honesty.

Our situations are pretty text book when it comes to these "conscious" groups of people. Sometimes these people operating on "vibes" are blindly responding to shitty ones. You can never threaten the ones who hold the resources, be that the legal owner of the land, the good drugs, a big crowd for events, or the people providing a great sound system for musicians to perform. If people are attached to resources or skills, moral decisions surrounding them tend to warp. People assuming they and their peers are by nature more "conscious" and moral than others just makes good people more vulnerable to the ugly realities of exploitation.

It was bizarre how they ganged up on her in the counsel. It was scapegoating and appeasing the irrational fears one person who told everyone not to trust her. (Then accuses her of not trusting them. Makes NO sense.) If you have an issue with someone (and live in an intentional community) you speak directly to that person. Don’t go behind their backs spreading lies and turning people against them. That’s the kind of toxics behavior I expect from politicians. That was my main issue with this community. The way they treated Narayah. You can see the group collectively holding it together with worse situations (Oak) just to avoid appearing as a toxic group. But that one counsel and how Tree and Vibe unleashed their baggage on her was telling. No self-awareness or healthy group dynamics when it counts.
@wildlightarts
@wildlightarts 8 месяцев назад
As someone trained in counsel process, it's kind of infuriating and scary to see it so misused in such a manipulative and mentally and emotionally violent way, after thorny tree stole her phone. Super toxic. Clearly cult dynamics. It's also disturbing to see people telling this group they are not a cult. It's pretty sad actually that people can watch this show and still be fooled into thinking this is a positive, well intentioned environment and group of people. @@pnwlady Sadly many communities operate this way, people go off grid and they take their patterns, dynamics and humaness and programming with them, most of the time. I have visited many communities. I went to a school in the PNW and miss the forests and mountains and oceans there so much!

Intentional communities need intentional framework, guidelines and processes. Determining a flow for where and how, granularly, issues can be resolved. checks and balances, understood foundational rules. Unfortunately people who are attracted to starting these things can be great at that, but not have the best of intentions for individual expression and freedom. Alternately a lot of times they simply don't have a good grasp on building systems and logic for creating useful processes and plans. Idealists benefit from the more survivalist prepper types for practical skills while strong and charismatic enough idealists keep the group from turning into a paranoid militia. It takes a lot of charisma and wit to keep the militant types from winning out and ruling people with an iron fist and acting like Caligula. One thing that is clear in the mist of the drama is that older people with more life experience seem to be the ones making the most of the communal situation and behaving the most peacefully and safely. The people out there just trying to raise a family and live close to the earth didn't get much screen time because they are fairly boring and unproblematic... aside from being naive enough to think their kids are any better off in a commune than in a suburb.
@pesco7
@pesco7 8 месяцев назад
And then they also have to constantly guard against energy drains like Narayan, who seek to enter the community and immediately reap the benefits of it and demand their voice be heard, while exerting minimal effort to become part of the community. How many days had she been there before causing tension? The group may not be innocent, but Narayah had nothing positive to add to the group.

Just binged it last night and she was my favorite. I hate how she was voted off like. It was like watching an episode of survivor. I thought this was a commune, not a competition. I lived in 4 Communities and each one had a core group. Some of the connection I experienced with communities was amazing. They may have had a common intention but in reality did not know how to carry that out. We all have personalities and have things in common and opposites. I feel that most people in USA (community or not) have very little experience in Accepting differences, negotiating and mediating with a group. Therefore the core group keeps their "culture". The alternative is to have intelligent conversations and make changes with in the self to be able to cultivate a more cohesive group. People do not want to stop doing what they want to do. I believe in Equality and that takes deep work to be able to live together and honor the self as well as the community. A good sensible Social infrastructure is missing in USA period. . . . at this point I have not watched the show. I am living in my van and have limited elect and Wifi.

Naraya must have been a producer plant. She contributed nothing of value to the group and was an immediate source of tension and conflict. She demanded to insert herself in every aspect of the group’s activity. Every group must do their best to remove people like her from their numbers as quickly as possible before she spreads that toxicity further. And the producers loved the drama they created with her. They kept finding ways to bring her back in front of a camera.
