@@brenoatvkids2.252 brazil is my home country by the way and i didn't watch this episode in portuguese until months later when i came back to watch it again. Garfield in portuguese is actually really funny imo and the actor does an awesome job like the us dubber did
@@coolpamky "Я знаю, где вы живёте" sounds much longer than "...или я отыщу вас". It wouldn't fit the video timing, literal translation would visually look wrong. It can happen during dubbing process and it often does, so translators have to come up with an alternative that can fit in not only context, but timing and lip sync, or else the illusion of visual art would break much more than if sentence would sound a bit different. You would clearly see that these aren't the words that come out of his mouth, just like in other samples in this video, where it's clear that they failed to put audio file correctly or actor failed to say his line on the right time.
@@the_you_kno_who That is cause, what I think lip sync useless part in dub. This thing is unnece. It's ruine the meaning with his addiction from lips. It is better to give away lips than text, & let the mouth go out of sync. It's ok. Nobody looks characters in mouth all the time. Yes, and people understand that they speak in different lang and cause their lips will move differ
1:30 Putting The Chile Flag and The Mexico Flag at the same time is actually pretty clever, because Garfield and Friends was dubbed in Chile, and The Garfield Show was dubbed in Mexico
Nope, it's because the original voice actor of Garfield reprised the role for the CGI series in Chile and all his recorded lines were sent to Mexico with the rest of the characters for the final sound mixing.
