There are a few ideas for treating heartburn at home Make sure you consume plenty of water. Avoid tomatoes Avoid French fries and mashed potatoes Avoid smoking, drinking alchol or caffeinated drinks (I read these and the reasons they work on Alinn heartburn relief website )

At 1:15 he says someone asked if NCLEX uses the name Lactulose or something else and he says that he’s not sure but lactulose is the trade name (it’s the generic name) and needs to find out but then brings up polystyrene sulfonate. Not sure why he did but polystyrene sulfonate brings down potassium not ammonia and the trade name for that is Kayexalate

Thanks for this video! Gut health is so important for overall health! Indicators of a healthy gut include: colon transit time of 12-24 hours, type 4 stool on the Bristol stool chart, not having diarrhea or constipation, having 1-3 bowel movements per day, and light-dark brown colored stools!

Video says the UC affects the “small bowel” this is incorrect... it affect the LARGE bowel (intestine). Small intestine is rarely involved

A renal diet is not always low in protein, phosphorus and potassium. You only restrict phosphurus and potassium when needed. In hemodilaysis you spend more protein, they need a high protein diet. Potasssium restriction is being reviewed in many cases the cause of hyperkalemia is not the food. It is better not to answer when you aren't updated.

Hi again! Here is what our scholars response is: "Patients with renal failure cannot efficiently regulate potassium. The kidneys aren't able to remove excess potassium which leads to hyperkalemia. Therefore, renal diets are always low in potassium. Reducing the amount of protein one eats helps reduce the amount of waste that builds up in the body and helps slow the progression of renal failure. So renal diets are usually also low in protein. He needs to correct that Ulcerative Colitis content. It affects the LARGE intestine and rectum, not the small intestine and rectum. This is such basic content, that I fear there are many other errors in the content.

Frankly it’s disgusting that you would even jokingly “suggest” that people get a gastric ulcer for weight loss. Millions of people struggle with eating disorders and body dysmorphia and as a healthcare professional, you are in a trusted position not to judge or glorify dangerous methods of weight loss. You need to do better, Kendall. First do no harm.
