Hope whoever may watch it after reading this enjoys it as much as I did. ✨️📽😊🍿📺✨️

Great movie!! Like The Woman in Black, or From Hell - or Photographing Fairies (though the latter is more fantasy than horror). I just love a good Victorian supernatural film. And there aren't enough of them.
@@ufomanuap5290 yes, there are actually quite a few films that depict the Victorian era... one in particular that comes to my mind is ''The Illusionist''.. which stars, Jessica Beihl, Ed Norton & Ewan McGregor .. plus a film from, like, 2011,(or sooner), called, ''Abe Lincoln - the Vampire Hunter''...(I think that's name of it)...& there are a couple of films by the name of ''Sherlock Holmes'',..starring, Robert Downey Jr & Jude Law.. (super- awesome movies..btw). plus, many, many, more.....peace✌& hugs💝 to all. with love from, - Marina Martin💋 - in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.. cheers🥂🍾..xox
Wow the most epic plot twist, and Emma's relationship with his uncle is just superb. Didnt know how things would actually end. Very brilliant. And the last scene ending with "Soon my Love" with the lights flash closed at the very end. uh-uhmm mui bueno😘
'This is no place for a young lady. Especially one dressed like that!' Don't you just love this old world reality? So polite and yet so oppressive! So devout yet so macabre. Awesome film!!
I like this movie from the beginning to the end this movie was very very good I like this movie 🍿🎥 this movie was very very good from the beginning to the end 7 thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😊
@@darksidefla7274 omg...wow, that's kind of a mean thing to say...- Don't u know what the term, ''a gem of a movie''..means?,tee-hee, (Mr. think think) ...I'm just kidding, (btw)...cheers 🍾🥂..with love from,- Marina Martin💋 ...peace✌& hugs💖 to all.. xox
@marinamartin2567 ummm obviously I do👈👈👈and how to you articulate when someone is angry happy or sad by reading a text..I ask a question...that is all..okay😍😍later keyboard hero
Thought it was great! It is slow burn, but everyone wants instant gratification nowadays, then you know who the villan is or what's going to happen. Then you spend the next 70 minutes of the movie trying to figure out how they are going to stop it/her/him. Just relax and enjoy the build up. 1:28:20 is FREAKY!! *COULD EASILY TRANSITION INTO PART II*
Even though it is fiction the story line stayed true to point of the paranormal activities with no outlandish Hollywood theatrics. This movie is Amazing and it is well worth the watch and it is one that I will probably watch more than once
Me. It’s one of the closest films to real Victorian Gothic Horror that I have ever seen. This is an excellent film. John Rhys Davies. One of my favourite actors who always deserves much more respect and credit for his talent
I love love loved this movie. 🙌🙌 The acting was magnificent all actors were amazing❣❣👏. Incredible story. 🥰🥰 Kept me in suspense all the way through the movie. Hidden Gem 👏👏👏🎬🎬🙌🏩
What a gem of a horror movie... What a find for a Sunday afternoon in the pouring rain in Cornwall❤ really excellent acting excellent actors and an excellent story what else can I say and I'm very hard to please let me tell you😂

Richard brake was in Hannibal rising with Rhys Ifans, bloody great bad guys in that. In fact the demise of Richard brake in Hannibal rising is one of my all time favourite movie moments....
A brilliant film, very well made. A bit downtempo and slow for the first half. There could’ve been a bit of backstory and moments outside the prison, with the publicity side of things and the victims families of the criminals. And setting the scene a bit more in the time period, with some comical moments, to contrast with the main theme. There were a few attempts at this, but they weren’t that great imo. Nevertheless, still fantastically produced, directed and acted, especially by John Rhys Davies as ever, he’s never been in a bad film. It just would’ve been nice to have a few Artful Dodger moments, to explore and illustrate the time period and place. Also something to connect the prison with the area and outside world a bit more. It seemed very remote, yet it’s in London somewhere apparently. I know I’m being very picky, perhaps some kind of public event happening in the film, somewhere near the prison to set the scene and localities more. A few newspaper stories and pictures of the criminals and their crimes. Perhaps a bumbling journalist, trying to keep tabs on the new invention. A scene with an open fire, daily mundanities and something to do with the industrial hubbub, the London docks. This film has the cake and icing, but the decorations are sparse. The scary scenes are scary enough and the story is horrible enough, but never too much. No swearing at all and no gratuitous violence. Suitable for a PG audience. 12.5/10
1890 to be exact. Light bulbs came about around 1870, and commercialized in 1883. But you are correct as spiritualism was like wildfire mid 19th century.
Absolutely brilliant movie. Really enjoyed it. I'm wondering, EVP is this how it first came to light & evolved to where it is now??? Can someone tell me? Thank you for movie 🎬 upload.
This is a very good horror movie with good actors! I'm obsessed with horror movies but surprisingly I never heard about this one. Thank you so much for sharing this! 🤓🍿🎞
WOW,now that was one good horror movie of which i am glad i did not stop watching!Almost half way into it the suspense escalated and then continued from then on?Near the end the lady in black and/or devilish lady disguised as the devil and/or Satan s disciple makes their appearance then it gets even better!Definitely worth watching and might be one of the best horror movies? Two thumbs up for sure?
