I've played a bit of Boba2 Yellow recently due to getting a showcase of him (similar ambush style) and you've both come to the same conclusions as me: 1) It can't really pressure and 2) It doesn't have a late game. You often run out of gas as soon as you get to a point where your ambush units don't get a trade in. I have since modified the deck a bit to focus less on ambush and just play a bit more normal of a game, but with as many reasonable keyworded units as I can (not necessarily ambush units)...while keeping a few ambush units (Han, Syndicate, Rider, Cohort - the units I can take leaders out with). There's still the late game issue, but that's mostly because Heroic Y/G can't beat Avengers, Dragons, Relentless'...I am going to keep trying, though! Maybe the deck is best as a rushing deck with low end punch (?). Perhaps someone will figure it out!
Awesome I like where you ended up with the deck for sure! There is also always future state to make boba good. He has more and more potential as more units and more keywords come out.
Ive been using yellow hero boba its really fun the hardest matchups end up being luke and yellow gar saxon cuz everythings shielded. Qira can be too if they shield frequently. I was wanting to toss in evacuates in the main to try out for those. Mine utalizes leias clone deserters and a few more ambush units
