The legislators need to be aware that they have no constitutional right to turn down South East Development Bill in that the Citizens of the South East are still legitimate Tax Payers of Nigeria.
We must hold South/North east governors and political officers responsible. One Nigeria or not, our people have not been working for the good of our people. What do we do with our allocations and state generated revenues. Without the federal allocation Easterners should at least point out at things we achieved. Look at our roads, schools, health sector, small business, job creation, sanitation, security, empowerment, pensioners, low cost housing, power, water, etc. How much is the salary of these political leaders plus allowances, and what are they doing to support their constituents on their own? If you’re not faithful in little, you can never get much. Let’s call a spade a spade and not a garden fork! Charity begins at home! Peace! The issue of voice voting is nonsense. The "nee" or "no" may only be few people but with massive and loud voice. It doesn't signify majority. The house and even the senate should adopt an electronic remote voting that won't display the identity of the voter. All votes will be seen on the screen. A simple and smart way of honest voting.
