I was there, my first ever game going to see a rugby professional match, my first time ever seeing wales play. not many better first times you could ever get to see as a welsh boy than that!
This does not feel that long ago.. but man has rugby changed. Henson was so awesome at this point.. a shame it unraveled for him. Young Shane - what a player.
That was an incredible grand slam that year..classic open Welsh flair of old, flinging the ball around and trying things all the time. Henson should have gone on to have a decade of world class performances but sadly not to be...
Can you imagine the BBC making something this jingotistic for England? The massed Welsh 'cyber-nats' would rabidly mobilise and they'd be calls for the video it to be taken down, motions in the Welsh Assembly concerning 'English bias', bombardment of the BBC servers social media channels about 'English bias'. But its ok for the BBC to be flagrantly pro-Wales apparently. And yet, the Welsh contribute a very small part of the BBC's income yet expect an oversized degree fo influence.
I think all teams are entitled to make a "Jingoistic"biased video for their country and the opposition are also or even obliged to object and criticize it"All's fair in love and war". .And i quite enjoyed this video perspective..It def emphasize's how tough this game is!
