The Gay Short Films of Branden Blinn 

These are some of my favorite short films. Because I am oblivious, I didn't realize that they were made by the same person. Thanks for the enlightenment.

Bravo Branden. All of these films are beautiful. As you say, life is shades of gray, even if it makes it harder to understand.

I knew Branden back in the 1980s and he wanted to make movies then...which he obviously has done.

Work to be very proud of: exposing truths, hearts, unabashed love. This is who we ALL are.

Male bonding is the greatest threat to the establishment, and sex is the key element (not work or golf). You don't know a guy until you've shared sex with him. Because for a moment, he allows you to see into him, and in that moment, you'll know if he's worth knowing. Take all the crap presented as "gay" or "straight" and throw it out. Simply put, men seek acceptance and understanding the most. It's unattainable anywhere else but in another man; because we ARE men. Believe me, I know of what I speak.

This is some spectacular work! This really needs to get pitched to a network!!

I've only seen two of Branden's films.... Thirteen/Triple... I thought they were excellent. It was years ago when I viewed them. Now it looks like I'm going to have to peruse the remainder of his collection. P.S., I love the tall guy in Thirteen.... I'm so vain and greedy, I think I want them both l..... Uh Oh, now I've gone and done it. Don't mind me, I'm just a knucklehead fanboy deluxe gay dude....

Hi Branden - Thanks for your recent response. I must say I only came across your films haphazardly and did not realize until yesterday/today what you have actually produced. I can't remember if I left a posting for "Thirteen or so Minutes" or not - but again - it took a few viewings before it really hit home. It's magnificent. I came across "Derek and Cameron", (is that title correct?) again, by chance and felt very enthralled. You explore a territory in male sexuality that I find very interesting - also because it reflects many of my own thoughts and feelings. I have not yet seen all of the work that you may have posted on RU-vid but certainly look forward to seeing them at some time. Your films are incredibly moving - and when one contemplates the deeper significance of the dialogue, facial expressions, body language etc. I find they open up levels of meaning that are so subtle, so sensitive and so real in terms of the human experience and the vagaries of the human heart. You are a very talented film maker - please keep doing what you do. It' is very important work.

To the directors of these movies and all the actors you're all brilliant and you bring such life to the screen the acting is so good I can't tell you how much enjoyment I get out of watching these movies all of them or so excellent thank you for making these movies they all make a point. It would be nice if you posted the full versions for all here as you made them not edited. RU-vid has stuff on here that is down right "wrong"; nothing you made in any way is insulting or disrespectful. Thank You for your work.

I've watched all Branden Blinn's films and I like them a lot but the only bad thing is that if I want to watch Without a mom more than once, I'll have to keep renting it every single time and I think that it would it would be great if we had the option to download it after paying for it.

I wonder do this person upload any of the other stories I can't find them anywhere if anyone knows please let me no I think he has some really great short stories watching the trailers but I can't find any of them except Derek and Cameron and I loved there story but don't no if they ever put ep.6 so again if I can get help with finding his stories or if there is a link I can go to it would be greatly appreciated if someone can tell me please and thank you.
