I think I have an idea that will benefit you both. Dodger, next time you get pressured for puppy cam, when you can resist no longer, say "okay fine" and show a picture of Jesse, optionally crudely edited on dog ears and nose. Your dog says safely out of the spotlight and Jesse gets his desperately wanted attention
I love the fact that the walls behind both Jesse and Dodger are close enough in colour that you could almost be convinced they are actually in the same office together.
Every episode dodgers camera pans like 6 inches to the right... In like 6 more episodes, it's gonna be revealed that jesses been sitting across from her the whole time!! 🤣
So jealous of Jesse meeting yoship and asking some hard hitting questions.....along with getting a laugh out of him. CHeers yall we made it to the WEEKEND!@
knights in tight spaces is a sequel-ish to "Fights in TIght Spaces" which was a card based martial arts game on a tiny tactical grid which was meant to be a tactical turn based representation of action scenes from martial arts movies that took places in little rooms like office buildings and you had a lot of movement and control over enemies and yourself. They basically took it and reskinned it as a medieval (not sure if fantasy) combat game for the follow-up.
Dude, the direction and editing for the acolyte is bonkers. It's like they said We aren't going to get hung up on continuity errors on this show. Wait, why did the ship look like it had 4 escape pods? Hard cut to the next scene. No, wait. How were they able to capture the prisoners and bring them back to courascant for questioning before heading out to the wreckage of the prisoner transport ship? Was she unconscious for like 3 days? NEXT SCENE! NEXT SCENE!
on acolyte: no your right. when episode 1 ended like that i was like wtf cause for a moment i thought did i accidently press the go forward button. im hoping it just a director thing cause she from what i looked up isnt directing episode 3 and beyond so lets see how scenes are done. cause its either a director thing or a producer thing that wanted scenes like that.
Tale as old as time. Insecure people trying to start shit or the Internet not realizing that just because you love something doesn't mean everyone has to.
But the fire thing is valid though when it looks more like a campfire than a explosion fire. And I'm not gonna hate watch the show again especially if the things being said about episode 3 is true.
Jesse, I watched Acolyte and I agree about the editing, but I honestly prefer editing being a little too quick compared to Obi Wan and book of Boba Fett, where it seemed like they padded out a mini series into an entire season. TL, DR: I'm hoping it's all quick editing and lots of story because they're fitting a ton of story into a short season, not just poor editing choices
Jesse ships had fire in space because they exploded and that means the oxygen rich atmosphere inside the ship was thrown into space, burning. The acolyte has a literal camp fire on the outside of the ship...
What's this nonsense about no fire in space. There will be fire for as long as there is fuel. What do they think the ship is? Yes, there's no oxygen is space, but there is on _ships._
you guys complaining about the show you didn't know about is a bit infuriating considering you started the podcast saying you didn't watch anythink. u just out of touch it happens at an age
I hate you Jesse. So much. I spent the last 42 minutes trying to find this damn Mommy game only to realize that you made it all up. Why do you have to shatter my dreams like this.
I love that they're talking about so many different lesser known games. Getting really nice warm fuzzy Co-optional vibes. But please show us some video clips about the games
Just started watching and I noticed their videos are mirrored, I wonder why. Only reason it stood out to me is because I love Jesse's cyberpunk neon sign and the words are backwards now, so the video has to be mirrored haha
@@KimmyfuzzygogglepageWell if it was for looking at one another, they could've used the non-mirrored videos and just had Dodger on the left and Jesse on the right. Pretty sure every other Geekenders has been non-mirrored so far, and I doubt that phrase is copyrighted lol
@@TheDJMaj07 depending on , i was gonna say depending who is streaming it and the computer is doing it and or that is just how they have it set up for this stream/vod
Jesse's camera is pretty central so I'm not sure, but Dodger definitely looks off to one side a lot of the time she's talking with someone on a call, so it makes more sense for her to be "facing Jesse" in relation to our screen, rather than "looking away" if you understand what I'm saying. Neither of them are physically facing each other but for a podcast you want that illusion.
The two of you talking about games releases and just making a few of them up in the middle is a wonderful high concept for a poddy, let alone an episode.
So many games coming out, I forgot that the summer game fest was supposed to be today. Welp, time to watch the highlights after this. Regarding Jesse's homework, I will definitely wait for all episodes of the Acolyte before watching it in one go. I hear that it goes in crazy territory later on, like lore breaking crazy. Kind of makes me wish the SWNCBC crew can talk about the more recent SW stuff.
Jesse and his love for stories in games is my spirit animal. It's half the reason I got into horror podcasts, so I can make my own red string boards with lore.
I really hope Jesse revisits Outer Wilds sometime. I defintiely get that beginning tutorial not clicking but the rest of the game is nothing like that and seems so up his alley. It also does really well on RU-vid. Just like with XIV the Outer Wilds community is a bunch of emotional vampires. Dump those vods on here raw and we'll eat it up lol
I think Deathbound is kinda like "what if a soulslike let you switch characters like Trine?" Sounds kinda cool cus most soulslikes lock you into a build. Imagine being able to switch on the fly in combat.
Why wouldn't you just take an Uber or such to downtown? I would imagine that's even cheaper than owning a car as a whole, not that you can not own a car there, but especially when it's an event like this.
