He’s envious about all the accolades and recognition that Otumfuo gets from many world leaders whiles no one seems to recognize his existence. This case that he’s raising has been solved already in the case between Mansa vs Adutwuwaa, Supreme Court of Ghana 2013. The case was unanimously determined that Otumfuo isn’t a paramount chief and that I’m very surprised that Mr. Daniel Mensah also aka Agyemang Badu has turned a blind eye to the judgement of his superiors in the supreme courts which he knows that as a judge of the lower court you’re bound by the ruling of the supreme courts. It’s all over the internet and anyone could Google and read the judgement of Mr Justices Dotse , Atubuga and one more. For the sake of mischief, he consistently misread the Chieftancy Act knowing very well that in law, how you quote a statement has a legal implications. He forgets about his ethics and constantly read it like “the paramount chiefs and the Asantehene “ whiles it should be “ The Asantehene and the paramount chiefs “. Isn’t that mischievous? Madam officially in Ghana, there's no King according to the 1992 constitution. Accept the truth and be free. That is why we use presidents in Ghana and not prime ministers. The president is responsible for ceremonial and executive activities. But in uk, the King is responsible for ceremonial activities hence the entire UK. land belongs to him.

All the remaining paramount chiefs are care takers. Even Dorma land belongs to kings according to the constitution. Dorma chief is just been rebellious to his king( be wura) so don't spew what you don't know . The land from Eastern, Ashanti, Brong, Ahafo and some part of Volta and northern region belongs to him. He own his nation before he combine to what we know present day as Ghana. Most of the secondary school and tertiary we built by him not the Government of Ghana. He's our king and Dorma is envy of him . Ashanti hene has done a lot for Ghana stop the division and let's unite

Does the constitution have provision for the title "king"? I saw nothing like that in our constitution. If by means of the Golden Stool the rest of the Asante Amanhene have come under the Asantehene as their overlord that does not make him a king. He is Paramount chief of Asante and overlord of other Paramount chiefs but not a king. Simple But as proud as Asantes are, they are not going to acknowledge that. That is them. But he is not a king. Ghana does not recognize any king.

The ignorance displayed here is unbelievable. I am an Asante from Offinso, there is no King in Ghana. Asante was a Confederacy of states which have lost all of its political power with advent and creation of the Republic. All that is left is our beautiful and rich history which Otumfuor is a gate keeper of. We should stop this habit of perpetual hostility towards our own kinsmen. Dormaa and Asante are one people.

That chief lacks understanding of our culture,customs and traditions and I don’t think he has elders who groomed him before he ascended his throne.And then also I don’t think he learned very well when he was in law school.He has forgotten that customary laws are part of the our constitution.

Are we ruled by the monarch system in Ghana? We are ruled by the constitution where the president is the leader. So if he says there is no king in Ghana, otumfour is aware he rules only the Asantes, unlike the UK system in which the kind or queen rules.
